Llama Blog Hop!!

Welcome to our first llama blog hop!
You will find links at the end of this
post, to move to the next blog,
or back to the main "llama page."

My theme is projects for the
Holidays!  Represented here are Fall,
Halloween and Christmas.  I hope
you enjoy!

My first project uses the Leaves of a Tree stamp
in the Holiday Mini, with sentiment from the
Falling Leaves set on page 29 of the main SU catalog.
I used the Simply Scored (Holiday Mini) to score
double lines on the top and right side of a piece
of Whisper White card stock.

I then inked up
the Leaves of a Tree stamp with Daffodil Delight.
Before stamping, I used a sponge to add Cajun Craze
to the edges and trunk of this image, which I then
stamped on the Whisper White.

I ran a strip of green DSP (Designer Series Paper)
from the Nursery Nest Pack, through the Big Shot
Tasteful Trim Die.  The Sentiment was stamped
in Pumpkin Pie and cut out with a Circle punch.

Lastly, the card base was run through the Big Shot
Perfect Polka Dots Die.  Assemble the card and then add
Dazzling Details (page 41 of the Holiday Mini) to
some of the leaves to make it sparkle!

This is a very quick treat for your Halloween visitors.
It uses the new 1x8 Cellophane Bags on page 11
of the Holiday Mini.  They are perfect for your M&M treats.

First, fill up your bag with M&Ms.
Now, grab your Got Treats set (page 65 of the main
catalog) and use Tangerine Tango and Early Espresso
markers to color the pumpkin.  Stamp and punch out.
Back with a 2 3/8 Scalloped Circle punch of
Tangerine Tango and you are ready to assemble
your treat.

My final project uses the Stitched Stockings
stamp set, and coordinating Stocking Builder
punch (Holiday Mini).
The sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes
set on page 157 of the SU Catalog and is
punched out with the Word Window punch.
The Snow Burst
Big Shot Embossing Folder was used to add
texture to portions of the stockings.

Colors:  Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Poppy Parade
The Pocketful of Posies DSP pack was used
for the layer behind the stockings.

I used the Simply Scored to create score lines
around the focal image, and several more
across the bottom of the card base. Score lines
really enhance to look of Whisper White c/s!

I hope that you enjoy the llama hop.

Cajun Leaves of a Tree

Here's Leaves of a Tree from the Holiday Mini.  This
is just a great stamp (but then I like trees).  The tree was
stamped in Daffodil Delight and then sponged
with Cajun Craze.  A few punches and layering of
DSP and you've got a fun fall card.

LolliFlower Wreath

My previous post incorporated a rosette or "lolliflower" on the
lid of the gift box.  Today's project uses 14 "lolliflowers" to
form a wreath.  The flowers were made out of textured
card stock,  and the Bold Brights Designer Series
Paper Pack.  The Brown DSP
flowers came from the Berry Blossoms DSP Pack.

I have not added a banner to this wreath, as I may use
it for a variety of banners for different events/occassions.

The star of this project is the Simply Scored tool
from the Holiday Mini.  It is easy to score paper or
DSP for production of flowers or other crafting projects!
