Stamp Off Color Challenge

Hey creative friends, it's time for another Stamp Off

Challenge with Susan, Buffy and I.

Today we have a color challenge, to include 3 of 4,

of the following colors:

Granny Apple Green 

Bermuda Bay

Crushed Curry and

Smoky Slate

I normally don't create vintage style cards, because they

are not really in my wheel house.  Today, I just felt like

making a butterfly card!

On the background layer, I used the Basic Pattern

Decorative Masks (page 146).  The sentiment comes from

the Butterfly Gala set (page 16), and butterfly from the

Butterfly Gala set (page 79).  The Hippo and Friends Die

was used to cut out the tiled layer, and Stitched So

Sweetly (page 179) Dies, the sentiment.  I colored 

rhinestones with Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends,

to perk up the butterfly.

Flight of Fancy with Word Wishes

 I really enjoy the Flight of Fancy set (Holiday catty page 59),

because it covers multiple holidays and is easy to color

with Stampin' Blends.  You can crop images in order to

create different looks. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

I added layers of Plaid Tidings DSP (page 57) and 

Black Glitter Paper (page 53). 

The sentiment was cut out of Brushed Metallic 12x12 

Cardstock (page 45), using the Word Wishes Dies on 

page 183 of the annual catalog.

Good Morning Magnolia

 Good Morning Magnolia (page 34), with the coordinating

Magnolia Memory Dies (page 182) is a lovely bundle.

The sentiments are great and images are easy to color with 

Stampin' Blends.  I just added some DSP and Glimmer

paper to finish out the card.
