Stamp Off Forever Fern

Hello and welcome to our Stamp Off Challenge for today.

Susan, Buffy and I are doing a Forever Fern challenge.

Forever Fern is located on page 110, with the coordinating

Forever Flourishing Dies on page 175.

For this card, I used the Brushed Metallic card stock

on page 45 of the 2020 Sept-Dec Holiday Catalog, placing the

foliage on a background layer of the In Good Taste DSP

on page 148.  It's really shiny in person, but hard to

capture with a camera.

Way to Goat Birthday

 I call this a confetti card, with strands of material

suspended to add texture and movement.  I love 

Way to Goat on page 105, in part because the eyes or

legs can be engaged with other aspects of the card.

I stamped the goat and sentiment and ran the card stock

layer through the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder.  I colored

the goat with Stampin' Blends.

Then I took a piece of Linen Thread about twice the length

of this panel.  I punched circles from the Plaid Tidings

DSP (on page 57 of the 2020 August-December Mini Catalog),

and Brushed Metallic 12x12 yardstick (page 45).  The 

confetti bobbles definitely make this card more interesting.

Hippo Happiness and Hippo and Friends.

 Floating cards are still the rage.  I like them, but a

floating card can be time consuming to make.  I decided

to try an easy route.  I die cut a number of unicorns

with the Hippo and Friends dies on page 176.  I added one

inked Unicorn and sentiment from the coordinating

Hippo Happiness set on page 49.  

I cut the frame with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (page 183)

and then layered them on to a piece of Plaid Tidings DSP

(page 57) from the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalog.

I love this DSP because the color patterns are delightful.
