Stamp Off Back on Your Feet Sketch

Welcome to our Stamp Off challenge, with Buffy, Susan
and myself.   Today we are doing a sketch challenge.

Our sketch challenge comes from page 140 of the
Stampin' Up 2019-20 catalog.  Any time that I need inspiration,
I page through the Stamping' Up! catalog and look at
colors or card sketches.

First, I need to say that I deviated from the sketch just a bit.
I created the elements, but was not happy once I arranged them,
so I moved the sentiment panel to the top and made the frame
part of the layer behind the turtle.  I knew that I wanted to use that little turtle, so it had to be shown off properly.   I don't think that Susan and Buffy will kick me off the team for these changes!

I love the Back on Your Feet set on page 83.  It's a cute set
and works well for coloring with the Blends.   In this example,
I used Calypso Coral, Smoky slate, Pool Party,
Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive.  The ferns are
from the Tropical Dies on page 196.  I also used the
Stitched Rectangles dies on page 196 to cut out the
Soft Sea Foam layer, and then ran things through the
Brick and Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  Adding a bit
of VersaMark helps highlight the brick.

Thanks for stopping, and please check out what
Susan and Buffy have done with this sketch challenge!

You Always Deliver Flowers

Today's post features one of my favorite sets;
You Always Deliver on page 59.  At first glance,
it looks like a set for demonstrators,
but it really is a set for everyone.  I have lots of men in
my family, so it works for male/mail birthdays, or people
who like packages in general (that's everyone, right?!)

Did I mention that it is a blast to color with Stamping' Blends?
It isn't a fussy image to color, and looks great when completed.
In this example, I used Old Olive, Calypso Coral,
Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Highland Heather, all
found on page 179.

I ran the card base through the Brick and Mortar 3D
Embossing Folder on page 198 and added a bit of VersaMark
to bring out the bricks.  Finally, I layered some Subtles
Designer Series Paper (p 168) and Noble Peacock Foil
(p 167) around the image to make it pop.
The image and sentiment were cut out with the
Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Random Good Morning Magnolia

The Good Morning Magnolia set (page 38),
with coordinating Magnolia Memory Dies (page 194)
is such a beautiful and flexible bundle.  I think that the leaves
stand on their own well, so decided to focus on those.
I used the large leaf on the edge of the flower, along with
the smaller leaf image.    They are added rather randomly,
above the flourish.
