Stamp Off Darling Donkeys

Hello Friends and welcome to another Friday Stamp Off
Challenge with Buffy, Susan and myself.  This week,
we are featuring our favorite SAB products.

My mother is the inspiration for this card,
because she loves crazy, funny, wacky birthday cards.
This card actually makes use of the first two FREE SAB
items that I received;  Darling Donkeys on page 4-5 and
Approaching Perfection on page 6.  These sets are great
individually, or you can pair them as I have done above.
I really enjoy the fact that those funny donkeys have so
many cheeky things to say.

I layered the donkey and sentiment on a piece of
In Good Taste DSP (page 148).  The card base is
Basic Black.

I thank you for stopping by and know that you will
LOVE the Challenge cards offered by Buffy and Susan!

Art Gallery Response to Gilded Leafing Plot

This is my response to the plot, sponsored by Susan
and Buffy, as described Monday.  I used the Art Gallery set
(Jan-June 2021 Mini catalog, page 34),
with coordinating Floral Gallery Dies.
The dies that cut out the sentiments make them stand
out prominently.   I used Heat and Stick Powder (page 33) and
Gilded Leafing (page 33) to add some highlights to the flower.
My background layer
is Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper (page 33),
that coordinates so perfectly with this set.

Just for the record, if Buffy and Susan tell you to do
something, just do it.  They will end up convincing you
to buy the product, no matter how much resistance you put up!
Some would say that their efforts were the result of
kindness... but it was still a very coordinated plot!

Gilded Foil Plot Exposed

This is one of the cards that Susan and Buffy used,
in their Gilded Leafing plot.  Susan sent me this
stunning card, using the Art Gallery set (Jan-June 2021 Mini
catalog, page 34) and coordinating Floral Gallery Dies.
How delightful are those lovely dies that cut out
the sentiments?!  Susan ran the background layer through
the Tasteful Textile 3D folder, to add some texture.  Lastly,
that twine adds a lovely finish to this beautiful card.
By the way, you can find the Gilded Leafing, that they
forced me to buy, on page 33!

This is the second part of the Gilded Leafing plot.
Buffy sent me this amazing card, using the Birds and Branches
stamp set (page 120) and Birds & More Dies (page 174).
She sponged the background oval with the Stampin' Up!
Blending Brushes (page 70 of Mini), picking up the blue
from that lovely bird.
Buffy added a layer of In Good Taste DSP (page 148),
which gives you the feeling of being up in a tree.
So lovely, and sparkly in person.

So there you have it.  They forced me, with lovely cards
and sweet wishes.  I caved, bought the Gilded Leafing,
and am so happy that I did.  On Wednesday, look for my
response to this sweet plot.
