Stamp Off Hand Penned Set with Penned Flowers Dies

Hey friends, Buffy, Susan and I are ready for the final
Stamp Off challenge for April.  Today, we are featuring our
favorite new set from the upcoming 2021-22 Stampin' Up! Catalog

This is the Hand-Penned set on page 105 of the new
catalog.  This set comes with a brilliant set of dies,
called Penned Flowers.  I fell in love with this bundle
the moment I saw it.  Trust me, you will see LOADS of
cards made out of this bundle.  I stamped the flowers
and leaves with the coordinating photopolymer images.
I added a couple of coordinating Genial Gems (page 144)
to accent the flowers.

The sentiment comes from the returning
Sweet Strawberry set on page 43.  It is kind of perfect
for this bouquet of flowers.  I used a Blending Brush to
add a bit of color before I positioned the Hand-Penned image
with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Adding color behind the image
really helps to make stand out.

Thank you for stopping by, and please click on over to
check out Susan and Buffy's favorite new sets!

Snailed It Bundle

Today is a snail kind of day.   This is the soon to be retired
Snailed It bundle on page 55 of the Jan-June 2021 Mini.
I sure will miss these cute critters with matching dies.
I paired the snail with the Fine Floral DSP, which
will also be retiring.

The cut-out comes from the
Hippo and Friends set of dies.  The sentiment comes from
the Art Gallery set with coordinating Floral Gallery Dies.
These products will be moving forward to the new catalog,
that goes live May 4th.

Now, for a few more snails!  If you like them, snap them up
before they retire!!

Wreath Builder with Fine Art Floral DSP

This is another approach to using your "left over" DSP
when we transition to a new Stampin' Up! catalog.
This is a simple way go diagonal!  Just cut a base and start
gluing strips of DSP.  It doesn't matter how wide they are,
or how many you use.

This card uses the Fine Art Floral DSP (p 33) and
Love You Always Foil (p 11).  Both retiring products are found in
the Jan - June 2021 Mini Catalog.  The sentiment comes from
the retiring Wreath Builder Dies.

Here is a bit more of the Fine Art Floral DSP,
for your entertainment!

Pierced Blooms Dies with Snail Mail DSP

Confession: I am a DSP (Designer Series Paper) hoarder.
Susan has been creating some wonderful cards,
using diagonal orientations, that help use up
a DSP stash.  Once you get the hang of making the
diagonal layout, you can crank these cards out.

The DSP comes from the Snail Mail DSP pack on page 55
of the Jan-June 2021 Mini catalog.   I love the sentiment from
Healing Hugs on page 72 of the retiring catalog.
I added some flowers from the Pierced Blooms Dies,
which will carry over into the 2021-22 Annual Catalog.
The card base is a piece of retiring Pretty Peacock.

This is another version of a diagonal DSP card,
using the retiring Butterfly Gala set!

Hippo Happiness with Hippo and Friends Dies

My grand niece had her second birthday several weeks ago.
Her parents invest a lot of time reading to her, so I wanted
to make a card that included her name.
This card uses the Hippo Happiness stamp set with coordinating
Hippo and Friends dies.   The sentiment and die come from the
Art Gallery set with coordinating Floral Gallery dies.

Happily, both of these bundles will be transitioning
into the new 2021-2 catalog.

I also used a variety of retired product to create this card.

Soar Confidently

I've done a couple different cards using the Soar
Confidently Stamp set on page 70 of the Jan-June 2021
Mini catalog.  That means that it will be RETIRING!
This set is so great for those masculine people in your life.
I embossed the image with white embossing powder, and then
used my Blending Brushes (also on page 70) to add
Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry and Highland Heather.
I inked the sentiment with a marker, so that I could
mask out some of the words.

This is another version in a different color scheme,
with a bit of linen thread.
