Stamp Off Merry Tags

Welcome, welcome to our Friday Stamp Off Challenge.

This week, Buffy, Susan and I are having a Tag challenge.

I thought that the Merry Tags Framelits Dies, with Merriest Wishes

stamp set, on page 21 of the Holiday catalog, were a perfect

option for this challenge.  Whether you use these tags

alone, or as an accessory on a card, this new bundle is lovely. 

The colors for this project are Copper, Real Red and 
Garden Green.  The Cable Knit Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder (on page 13 of the Holiday Catalog)
was used to emboss the red layer.  I added a bow from the
Baker's Twine Trio Pack on page 16, to finish off the tag.

Botantical Builder Spinner with Sliding Star

The Sliding Star Framelits on page 192 are sort of addictive.

You can make a slider card so easily, that you have to make

one periodically.   In this example, I used the Sunshine Wishes

Thinlits on page 194 to create the "sunshine" sentiment.

Botanical Builder Framelits (p 194) was the perfect option

for the spinning part of this project.

 

I used the In-Color Envelope Paper (p 176) for the 

patterned paper on this card, layered on a Mint Macaron

card base.  

Sweet Home Card

The Holiday Catalog brings with it great entertainment,

in the form of new products.  The Sweet Home set on page 40

(with coordinating Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies) 

is an incredibly fun bundle of products.

You can make a "flat" card project, or 3-D project with

an amazing array of bits and pieces to deck out your creation.

This bundle also enables projects for birthday, welcome to

your new home, Halloween or Christmas.

Check it out, and design your own "home"!

Sure does feel like Fridays roll around VERY quickly.

That's not a bad thing, because that means Buffy, Susan

and I get to do our thing!

 

 This week, our thing involves lots of layers, however that

is interpreted by each artist.  As usual, we offer a challenge,

but respect all interpretations, even though they might deviate

from the challenge "rules."  It's just how we operate.

 

 This is a layered card, because the sentiment portion is "stacked".

I used several annual catalog products, including 

Flourishing Phrases (p 49), 2015-17 In-Color Envelope Paper

(p 176), Dazzling Diamonds and Gold Glimmer Paper (p175),

and Gold Sequin Trim (p178). 

 

The sentiment comes from the Wondrous Wreath set

on page 32.  I hope that you enjoy my project.

Kinda Eclectic with Thoughtful Banners

I'm running late so will do a very quick blog post.

This is a card made with products from the current

annual catalog, including Kinda Eclectic (p 147) and the

sentiment from Thoughtful Banners on page 73.  

I used my favorite go-to, Elegant Dots Textured Embossing

folder on page 195.  The colors are Flirty Flamingo

and Pear Pizzazz.

Sweet Home Holiday Catalog Bundle

It's time for the 2016 Holiday Catalog!

I have so many favorite items in this catalog,

but thought I'd start with the Sweet Home Photopolymer set and 

coordinating Home Sweet Home Thinlit Dies (also sold as bundle)

on page 40.

  This bundle enables creation of little houses, that can be

used as luminaries or gift containers.  They can also be used

to create 3-D centerpieces.

Whether you want to make a Christmas, Halloween or

seasonal house, this bundle gets the job done!  The banners

enable greetings for Christmas, house warming, birthday
