Stamp Off Autumn Flourishing Phrases

Happy Friday!  Susan, Buffy and I are ready for you,
with another Stamp Off Challenge.

Today, we are featuring an Autumn theme.  It's pretty
warm here in Dayton, but fall is on its way!

I continue to find so many uses for Flourishing Phrases,
on page 49.  In this example, the leaf stamp enabled a
scattering of fall colors.  I added Gold and Garden Green strands from the Baker's Twine Trio pack on page 16 of
the Holiday Catalog.   The sentiment was created with the
photopolymer Labeler Alphabet on page 156.
I love this double alphabet set,
because I can create any sentiment required
by a given situation.  In this case, I wanted something going
in a vertical direction, which was easily accomplished.

Now please click on over to check out the beautiful
samples offered by Buffy and Susan.
Their fall projects will dazzle!

Cookie Cutter Scare Crow

As you will see in the coming weeks, I created a number
of cards using this card sketch.  Last week's Stamp Off challenge
kind of started things off.  Sometimes, when something
works for you, you stick with it.  Part of the reason I used
this sketch is that I love the feel of the Cable Knit Dynamic
Textured Impressions Embossing folder (p 13).
It just works, for fall or winter cards, because it exudes warmth.
The sentiment comes from a retired set.

The scare crow comes from the Cookie Cutter Halloween
set on page 53.  He's cute and quick to color.  Having the
Cookie Cutter Builder Punch on page 6 means that you don't
have to do any nasty fussy cutting!

Stamp Off Merry Tags

Welcome, welcome to our Friday Stamp Off Challenge.
This week, Buffy, Susan and I are having a Tag challenge.

I thought that the Merry Tags Framelits Dies, with Merriest Wishes
stamp set, on page 21 of the Holiday catalog, were a perfect
option for this challenge.  Whether you use these tags
alone, or as an accessory on a card, this new bundle is lovely.

The colors for this project are Copper, Real Red and
Garden Green.  The Cable Knit Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder (on page 13 of the Holiday Catalog)
was used to emboss the red layer.  I added a bow from the
Baker's Twine Trio Pack on page 16, to finish off the tag.

Now please click on over to Buffy and Susan's blogs,
to check out their lovely offerings.

Have a great Friday!

Botantical Builder Spinner with Sliding Star

The Sliding Star Framelits on page 192 are sort of addictive.
You can make a slider card so easily, that you have to make
one periodically.   In this example, I used the Sunshine Wishes
Thinlits on page 194 to create the "sunshine" sentiment.
Botanical Builder Framelits (p 194) was the perfect option
for the spinning part of this project.

I used the In-Color Envelope Paper (p 176) for the
patterned paper on this card, layered on a Mint Macaron
card base.

Sweet Home Card

The Holiday Catalog brings with it great entertainment,
in the form of new products.  The Sweet Home set on page 40
(with coordinating Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies)
is an incredibly fun bundle of products.
You can make a "flat" card project, or 3-D project with
an amazing array of bits and pieces to deck out your creation.
This bundle also enables projects for birthday, welcome to
your new home, Halloween or Christmas.
Check it out, and design your own "home"!
