Grace's Garden with Garden Gateway Dies

There are some wonderful products that carried over to the

Stampin' Up! 2020-21 catalog.  The Grace's Garden stamp

set (page 128) is simply the sweetest set.  These darling 

images can be cut out and raised on a card, using the

Garden Gateway dies on page 181.   I framed the focal

layer with the Ornate Layers dies on page 177.

I used the Subtle 3D Embossing folder on page185 to 

add texture to several of the layers.

Nothing's Better Than Bundle

Periodically my friends Buffy or Susan make a comment about 

not making them buy a certain SU product or bundle.

Of course for me, that sort of sounds like "game on!"

I love the Nothing's Better Than bundle on page 91.

It is comprised of the Nothing's Better Than stamp set

and Love You More Dies, on page 176.  The sentiments

are just a hoot, so it makes it easy to come up with

a fun card.

Several sheets of the In Good Taste DSP (page 148),

go well with the chocolate theme.  I felt that this sheet

actually looked like wrapping on a candy bar.

Dressed to Impress

 

The Dressed to Impress set (page 23), with coordinating

All Dressed Up Dies (page 180) has made it to the

new SU catalog.  I added a layer of In Good Taste DSP

(p 148).

Stamp Off Challenge Forever Fern

Welcome to our first Stamp Off challenge of the new

2020-21 catalog. Buffy, Susan and I will be featuring our favorite 

layouts, using new catalog product.

I find that I tend to go to layouts that feature a strip of

DSP, or images on the left, with the sentiment on the right.

Perhaps it's my career in classrooms, where I like a clear

left-right progression for reading with students.

Forever Fern (p 110), with the coordinating Forever
Flourishing Dies is my favorite new bundle.  It is so
very elegant.  For this card, I masked off the left side of
the card, sponged and stamped.   It's an easy way to create
the look of DSP.   I added a couple gold foil elements to 
make the card sparkle.  The sentiment comes from the
Country Home set on page 89.

Nothing's Better Than Chocolate!

As you likely know, SU demos live for the day when a new

SU annual catalog lands on their doorstep.  Better yet,

that first box of new product, that we've debated about for what

feels like months.  I got my first catalog order Monday

and went to work!

The Nothing's Better Than stamp set (p 91), with

coordinating Love You More Than (p 176) dies was

at the top of my wish list.  This bundle has excellent 

sentiments, images and Die cut words.  There are so many

ways to put these components together. 

In this example, I paired Blushing Bride with Early Expresso

and placed everything on the Hammered Metal 3d

Embossing Folder layer.  Sentiments were cut out with

the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
