The ladies (Buffy and Susan) and I are back again to
share another challenge. I think that we all enjoy sketch
challenges, so that is on the agenda for today.
This is a great sketch. I enjoy mixing a little DSP with
some shapes. And SU has some awesome shapes
available with their variety of framelits.
I really like the Sunshine Wishes Framelits on page 194.
They coordinate with the SunShine Sayings set on page 97,
but also stand well on their own. In this example, I stamped
the heart framelit in two different colors, so that I
had a contrasting heart insert.
I used the DSP from the Neutrals pack on page 174.
The Smoky Slate coordinated well with the new
Dapper Denim In Color. The Bless Your Heart sentiment
comes from the Jar of Love set. I colored White Perfect Accents
from page 177 with a sharpie marker to get the
coordinating dots. The card base was embossed with the
Happy Hearts Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
on page 195.
did with this sketch challenge. I know that you
will love their samples.

Jackie. Stop using that Thinlit set! Now I have to add that to my list. You are going to make me go broke! I love your card with the pop of color!
Sweet card, Jackie! I love the pop of...Watermelon? It's really pretty with the Smoky Slate and Dapper Denim. Nice card (and a fun sketch!).
I love the heart framelit and the repeating embossed hearts, Jackie! Great colour combination - and why did I never think of colouring the White Perfect Accents?? You're brilliant - that's why I love following your designs! :)
Super card! And I adore this sketch as well! Is this challenge published on its own challenge blog? Or is it simply something that a few of y'all do to play regularly together? In any event ... very cool card. Looking forward to getting back my stampin' space soon, as everywhere I look people are making me want/need to stamp! ;)
Thank you Bev. we're just 3 friends who challenge one another every Friday. We each add challenges as we are able. If someone wants to join in, we can link to their project in the comments.
