Sailing Home for the 4th

Some of my family lives in Duluth Minnesota, where
there are a number of lighthouses.  For the 4th, the fireworks
are shot over the harbor, and a large lighthouse museum.
It is a spectacular display, and inspiration for this card.

I used the lighthouse from the Sailing Home set on page 31.
The lighthouse was run through the Subtle 3D Embossing
Folder (page 185), to add texture,  and mounted on a
layer cut out with the Ornate Layers Dies on page 177.
I didn't feel the need to add a sentiment, because the
Ornate Layers Dies are pretty "busy" as is.

This is a great 4th of July card. It looks very patriotic. I wonder if they will have fireworks this year. They were all canceled around us. Sad.

Very cool July 4th card, Jackie! I love that lighthouse and it's perfect for the frame. Sadly, we didn't have fireworks this year, except for what the neighbors put off. They had some pretty awesome ones, though!
