Stamp Off Sunflowers Dies with DSP

Susan, Buffy and I are ready for you today!   Our challenge
is to use your DSP (designer series paper).  If you have been
crafting for any length of time, you likely have a huge stash
of DSP.  It's so difficult to cut up, but easy to create with those pretty sheets of paper!

For this card, I used the Pattern Party Hostess DSP pack
on page 171, for all of the elements.  The Sunflowers Dies
on page 166 are stunning.  They can be stamped with the
coordinating Celebrate Sunflowers set, or created
using DSP.  I used the Pattern Party for the background of the sunflower, and Brushed Metallic for the sunflower detail.
One thing that I always forget to do is to
stamp directly on to the DSP, to create continuity of color
and pattern, as shown in this example.  I added some rhinestones, colored with Stampin' Blends,
to the center of the flower for a bit more sparkle.

I'm so glad that you stopped by my blog.  Now it's time
to click on over to Buffy and Susan's sites, so that you can
see their amazing DSP challenge cards!

Wow, wow, wow!! This sunflower you created is stunning, Jackie! I almost missed the fact that you die cut the leaves from the DSP as well. Fabulous card!
