Sarah's Calla Lilies

This is a wedding shower card for "Sarah Cha Cha Cha".
Her wedding theme is passion Calla Lilies.  I
searched the internet and found a number of ways to
make Calla Lilies.  They are actually pretty easy:

1.  Punch a round circle.  I used 1 3/4" punch.
2.  Break down the fibers in the paper.
You can do this by repeatedly running the punched
circle against your bone folder or over the
edge of a table.
3.  Use a pipe cleaner or twisted length
of paper for the stem.
4.  Place the stem against the center of
the punched circle, using glue or glue dots.
5.  "Curl or roll" one side of the circle over
and glue to the "stem".
6.  "Curl or roll" the other side over and glue.

It really is easy.

Products:
Paper:  Whisper White, Burgundy
Sets:  Fabulous Phrases (I love this set
because it can be used for any occasion).
Accessories:  Big Shot Petals-a-Plenty Embossing
Folder and Hearts Collection Framelits
Jewelry Tag Punch, Celery 5/8" ribbon,
Baker's Twine, TOMBO GLUE FOR
STRONG HOLD!

Sadly, I also made Sarah a 2 page scrapbook
layout and forgot to take a picture.  I completed it
right before I had to go to work, and gave it
to Sarah that day.  Best wishes Sarah!

Ornament Punch

Don't forget the ornament punch this Christmas season.  SU
sells several sets that coordinate with this punch.  This combination
makes it easy to crank out those Christmas cards!

This set uses Always Artichoke, Soft Suede, Real Red and Crumb Cake.
This ornament set, Delightful Decorations is found on page 35 of
the main catty.

A Big Shot embossing folder was used to add texture to the card base
and layered portions of the card.

I did not have Artichoke taffeta ribbon, so I colored
some white with a marker!

Memorial Day T-Shirt

Paula Achaerbigler did a very cool t-shirt with the motorcycle
from the  summer mini on the front.  That gave me the idea for this
Memorial Day T-shirt card.

I used the large oval punch to cut out the neck and arm holes
in a Brilliant Blue card base.
I also cut out large oval real red slivers to accent the arm holes.
Punched out 3 stars and added gold brads.
The Whisper White band was stamped with "Thank You"
from the Upsy Daisy set.

Assemble and this card is done.

Very Thankful Turtle

This is the RMD set, Very Thankful, on page 209.  It is one of
the SAB sets that you can get FREE with a $50 merchandise purchase.
This is such darling, versatile set.

I ran the Barely Banana card base thru the Big Shot Perfect Polka Dot
Embossing Folder and added polka dot Old Olive DP.
Stamped and water colored the turtle, layered it on
rose red c/s punched with the Pinking Hearts border punch
and this card was almost done.  Add Certainly Celery Satin
ribbon and it was complete.

The Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch (page 10-11) enables you to punch out
a branch, the bird and a  wing.  This format allows you to create a variety of different

This format also allows for larger punches, like this bird punch.

Please be safe over the new year!
