Buffy really impressed, with her Stamp Off card from
this past Friday. I love that Stamparatus watercolor
technique. Her card motivated me to try this technique,
with Geared Up Garage on page 43 of the Occasions Catty.
I used Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point,
coloring and spritzing. I was attempting to create an ombre
effect, but it is not as pronounced as I had planned. I also
wanted to mention that initially, my aqua painter was not
providing enough water. However, if you take it apart,
you can scrape a pin around the interior of the brush
end (not the water reservoir) and clear minerals that are
blocking the hole to the brush end. This allows
the aqua painter work properly again.

I do like the movement that this
technique created with this image.
The sentiment is stamped on a piece of Wood Textures
Designer Series paper (Annual catalog page 191). This
DSP is perfect for masculine cards.

This is lovely, Jackie! I love the watercolor look, and it's perfect for the antique car! I finally ordered that bundle. I can't wait until it gets here - and it looks great with the Wood Textures DSP. Awesome job!!
This is a great technique, Jackie. I am going to have to try it. Thanks for the Aqua Painter tip. I am going to see if I can clean mine.
