October Llama Hop

I hope that you are enjoying the Thanksgiving Llama hop so far!
Bet you loved Debbie's inspiring projects!

I really enjoy making Christmas cards, so that is what I am
offering for my Blog Hop contribution!

Given the popularity of banners, I had to make a banner
Christmas card.  And I HAD to use the Scentsational Season
set with coordinating framelits on page 16 of the Holiday Mini.
It is so much fun to crank out cards with the framelits!

Materials:  Scentsational Season Set
Sentiment from Open Sleigh Set
Banners: Gumball Green Core'dinations card stock
Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock
Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP,
Whisper White card stock
Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
Full Heart Punch (to punch the end of the banners)

Here is a link for the tutorial I used for this tree.
Most paper artists use DSP for the origami tree, but I have
"issues".  I can't deal with 2 different patterns showing
on the tree.  For that reason, I used the Gumball Green
Core'dinations paper, embossed with the Big Shot
Fancy Fan embossing folder.  My sample is sponged with
Early Espresso ink, but I think White Craft Ink looks better.
The "Merry" sentiment can be placed on the
Christmas Tree skirt, or stuck in the branches as
in this example.

Materials:  "Merry" from Teeny Tiny Wishes,
Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green Core'dinations c/s,
Red Glimmer paper with Star from
Holiday Collection Framelit Die set,
Fancy Fan Textured Embossing Folder
Lacy Brocade Textured Embossing Folder,
Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder
Word Window Punch
Spritzer with Champagne Mist Shimmer paint & alcohol

Now hop on over and take a look at Kath's wonderful projects,
