You Always Deliver with DSP

Buffy, Susan and I are lined up for another
Stamp Off Challenge.  I'm excited about this challenge,
because we are featuring our favorite set from the new,
2019-20 Stampin' Up! catalog!

I like many of the new SU catalog sets.  I usually
select sets based on my personal needs, or those that are
different.  When it comes to picking my favorite,
it is generally a set that makes me smile.

The You Always Deliver Photopolymer set on page 59
is a set that always makes me smile.
I think that we can all resonate with
the excitement that comes when we are waiting for a
package.  This little delivery guy captures that
excitement and includes sentiments that work for many
different situations.  He is also the perfect image to
color with your Stamping' Blends (Calypso Coral,
Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate)!

I added a layer of Subtles Designer Series Paper (p 168)
and a layer of Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (p 167) to
brighten up the card.  The Stitched Rectangle dies
and Stitched Shapes dies (p 196) were used to create the layers.

Thank you for stopping by our Stamp Off challenge.
Please check out the wonderful samples offered by
Buffy and Susan.

Sailing Home with High Tide

I mentioned a while back, how much I like Stampin' Up!
products that coordinate together.  I very much enjoy
the pairing of High Tide (page 152) with Sailing Home
(page 146).   The combination of sentiments from these
two sets enable lots of supportive and masculine projects.
The images go great together!

This is a very quick, easy card, that could actually
be created as a one layer card.  It could also be
stepped up to a "fancy" card by using the coordinating
die to layer another lighthouse over the stamped image,
or cutting out the sentiment with a die and layering it .

Magnolia Lane DSP

Friday, I posted a project from one of my favorite new
suites, the Magnolia Lane Suite of products (p 37),
including the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and
Magnolia Memory Dies (p. 194).  The other piece of this
suite is the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.
This paper can be layered on cardstock in an unending
collection of patterns, so that you can just add the sentiment.

In this example, the sentiment comes from Beautiful Day
on page 131.  This set is great fun to watercolor, but I
really like the sentiments as well.
