Sorry I haven't posted lately.
This week really got away from me!!
Flower Shop is probably my favorite bundle
in the new catty, because it enables effortless card production.
It does take some thought, in terms of marking your
stamps so that you can line up the punch correctly.
Once you mark the petal that should be "down",
your punch lines up perfectly.
Sets: Flower Shop, Itty Bitty Banner
Colors: Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe,
Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar
Other: Simply Pressed Clay and aqua painter to color,
Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Bitty Banners Framelit,
(New) Pansy Punch
In the picture above, you can see how the flowers have one
petal with a "bump" on the right edge. When I placed the stickers
on my stamps, I looked for the "bump". I stamped the image
and then punched it out, to make
sure that I had the correct (bumped out) petal.
I marked the petal with permanent marker,
so that I could see how to orient my
stamp when stamping (bumped petal down)
to enable easy alignment for the Pansy punch.
It's a little hard to see, but I also put permanent
marker on the rubber side of the stamps, so I know
which petal goes down. This makes alignment with
the punch "idiot proof"!
