Vintage Vogue with Wheel

I'm still lovin Vintage Vogue from the Occasions Mini.  It's
just such a elegant set.  This card includes the Very Vintage Jumbo
wheel, which was wheeled in Certainly Celery.  The vines were then
stamped in Old Olive, followed by the Flowers in Rose Red. Edges of
the various papers were sponged to enhance the texture.   I added
Crystal Effects to the vines and center of one flower, to adhere
Micro Beads.

The sentiment was stamped in 2 parts on a Pretty in Pink tag from the
Big Shot Lots of Tags Sizzlit 4-pack, and then overstamped with
flower and vines. The sentiment was layered on another Sizzlit
tag, in Real Rose.  Lastly, the LUSCIOUS  Old Olive Satin Ribbon
was added beneath the tags. (I adore these satin ribbons!)

Hey, it's almost Friday, we can make it!

On Board Heart Basket

A demonstrator by the name of Aimee Gandara published a heart
basket on her blog.   This is my version.

The back and front heart portions of this basket
are made out of the On Board Heart
Book on page 34 of the Occasions Mini.  I cut a piece off the bottom
of each heart and then covered them with designer series paper from
the SAB paper pack.  I made a small box to hold the 2 hearts together
and form the basket.  The handle and one heart, are made out of
Sending Love Designer Series Paper.  The Full Heart Punch and
Big Shot Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits (page 15) were
used to cut out the hearts.  The sentiment is from the Level 1 hostess
set, Picture This, and trimmed out with a Chocolate Chip Epoxy Brad
(page 13).   The Pinking Heart Border Punch was layered beneath
Real Red Wide Grosgrain.

This basket will actually hold card or candy (or other
treats that you come up with)!

Autumn Traditions FYI

I've been wanting to try one of these flowers for a while and just
got around to it today.  It's Designer Series paper shaped with the
help of Sticky Pages on page 158.

I cut a strip of Autumn Traditions DP, trimmed one edge with the new Scallop
Trim Border punch and then ran it through my Crimper
repeatedly. Next, I slowly wrapped it around a 1 3/8 circle of Sticky
Page.  Layer some paper circles for the center and then add Crystal Effects
to secure Micro Beads.  FYI was stamped on Autumn Traditions DP and
cut with the oval punch.  The sentiment and background square were run
through the Big Shot Finial Press Embossing Folder.
Add ribbon, layer up and it's done.  The card base, by the way is 4 1/4
inch square.  Sometimes a square card just works better!

Oh my, we're approaching another Monday!
