Hats Off with Hat Builder

My brother-in-law's birthday falls on the 4th of July.   His
card this year, was a no brainer.  A red-white-and-blue
baseball cap was in order.

The Hats Off Stamp set (p 47), with coordinating Hat Builder
Dies (p 159) has really grown on me.  It allows you to
personalize this standard headwear, for the recipient, which
is a pretty sweet deal.  I layered the cap on to a piece of
Pattern Party Hostess DSP on page 171.

The sentiment was created with the Art Gallery Stamp set
(p 13) and cut out with the Floral Gallery dies on page 163.

Hey Birthday Chick with Dies

Yes, I am overdue for a Hey Birthday Chick (page 65) card.
The Birthday Chick Dies (page 162) just make things
so effortless.  I used a layer of In Good Taste DSP (page 132)
because it gives the appearance of a chicken coop.
I ran the card base through the Tasteful Textile 3d Embossing
folder to give that chicken some textured background.
The sentiments were cut out with Hippo and Friends
(page 162) dies.  I cut the top sentiment twice, to reduce
the size of the frame.  The balloon needed a bit of
Linen Thread, so that completed the card.

Beauty of Friendship with Beautiful Trees Dies

I really like simple, basic masculine cards.  The
Beauty of Friendship Stamp set on page 11, with
Beautiful Trees Dies (page 158) is perfect for this kind of card.

I stamped the trunk and tree top and then ran that layer through
the (retired) Subtles 3d Embossing folder.  I stamped the
sentiment and cut it out with the coordinating die from this set.
From there, I simply layered things up, using a piece of
In Good Taste DSP (page 132) and Old Olive card base.
