Stamp Off Serene Garden with Dandelion Wishes

Thank you for joining Buffy, Susan and I for
another Friday Stamp Off Challenge.

Today, we have a challenge that is relatively "easy".
There are numerous SU sets with flowers, so we can
pick our favorites and let the flowers fly!

This is one of my favorite color combinations;
Poppy Parade and Mango Melody.  The orange tint to
Poppy coordinates so well with the Mango!

I enjoy the Serene Garden set, with coordinating
Garden Scene Framelits Dies (page 166 and 217).  This may
be one of my favorite bundles in the new catalog.
There are several reasons for this proclamation!
First, it enables a new technique, embossing with
dies (see page 221 in the catalog for the new Big Shot
Embossing Mats required for this technique).
Secondly, the dies enable you to "splatter" some very
trendy looking flowers all over a card front.  It's just
a very fresh looking set.

The sentiment comes from the Dandelion Wishes Set
on page 118.

Now DO NOT miss today's challenge cards offered by
Susan and Buffy.  They are spectacular!

If you would like to see more information related
to embossing with dies, and using the Big Shot
Embossing Mat, please check out
the following Stampin' Up! video.

Follow Your Dreams HB Anniversary

My sister and brother-in-law have a wedding anniversary
coming up.  It is "nauseating", but they call each other
"HB", which stands for Hun Bun.  It is a standing family
joke.  So each year, I try to work HB into their anniversary
card.   They also like the South West decorating style.

So, my card design comes together.  I pulled out my
Follow your Dreams set (p 54), stamping elements and
cutting them out with the coordinating
Chase Your Dreams Framelits (p 216).  The color
combination includes Crumb Cake, Mango Melody
and Poppy Parade.  I colored the candy dot with a
gold sharpie marker.

Given my need for "HB",
I cut off the initial letters of the Happy Birthday
Thinlits (p 217) and attached them to the card.
Yes, this could be a birthday card, but they will be expecting
me to keep up my annual pattern, so HB it is!

Bubble Over Timeless Textures

I've said it more than once, I LOVE the Bubble Over
set (page 57) with coordinating Bottles and Bubbles
Framelits (p 216).  This is my go-to set for masculine
events.  It is a flexible bundle, that works for birthdays,
thank you and celebrations in general.

In this example, I stamped the background with the
Timeless Textures set (p 156), with some of our wonderful
new colors; Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and
Mint Macaron.  It made kind of a fuzzy, festive background.

The sentiment comes from the Waterfront set.
