You're My Type in Concord

It's difficult to tell from this photo, but the
colors for this card include 2 retiring in-colors:
Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz,
along with Basic Gray and Whisper White.

You're Just My Type, from the Occasions mini
is a set that works for masculine or feminine projects.
I also like it for individuals from "the older generation."

look at Darrah's wonderful samples at

My FAVORITE SU product is the Big Shot,
with the Framelits the best accessory ever!
Cristy Butzen developed this technique for using
the Labels Collection Framelits (page 6 of the
Occasions Mini), to make a kind of a flip-flop card.

Below are pictures of the card opening, and the
back of this project.

Sets:  Easy Events
Colors:  More Mustard, Pear Pizzaz,
Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, black Stazon
Accessories:  Labels Collection Framelits,
Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes
Punch Pack, Pearls, Square Lattice EF

If you don't own a Big Shot, the
Lace Ribbon Border Punch is a nice way
to add texture to a card or scrapbook project.

This card uses several more In-colors that
are retiring in June; Concord Crush,  Peach Parfait
and Pear Pizzazz on a Crumb Cake card base.

The stamp set,  Best of Everything,
can be found on page 103 of the regular catalog.

Accessories:  Scallop Border Punch, Pear Pizzazz
Ribbon, Big Shot Lots of Tags Sizzlits Die,
Circle Punches, Linen Thread, Versa Mark.

This final project uses the retiring In-Color
Blushing Bride with the Field Flowers set.
The Big Shot Finial Press Embossing Folder created
texture on the card base.  The Lace Ribbon
Border Punch strip was run through the Square Lattice
Folder to create additional texture.
For some reason, I ALWAYS have to place
3 rhinestones under that leaf.  Don't ask me why,
it's just not done until they're in position!

More Field Flowers

Obviously I am enjoying this Field Flowers set!
It is easy to use, and GORGEOUS!
It is also pretty on lacy looks like white and vanilla.
In this sample, the vanilla card base with
the Crumb Cake Field Flowers images
was run through several Big Shot
embossing folders (Stripes, Finial Press).
The lace border punch
was then used to make a flowery edge that
was run through the Big Shot
Square Lattice Embossing folder.
The Labels Collection Framelit was used
for the sentiment, with a Crumb Cake piece
placed behind as an accent.
