Magnolia Lane on Rococo Rose

It's Stamp Off Challenge day, and Susan, Buffy and I

are sharing our favorite new In Colors!

The choice of favorite In Color was a no-brainer

for me.  I'm kind of a Pink/Rose girl, so I love

Rococo Rose.  It's not too light pink and goes with a

nice selection of SU colors.  In this example, I paired

Rococo Rose with Mossy Meadow.

Royal Peacock with Butterfly Gala Sentiment

It's always interesting to "get to know" new Stampin' Up!

product.  Playing with product is different from checking

it out in the catalog.  Admittedly, I have gotten better at

figuring out what product I will really enjoy.

For this card, I used the Royal Peacock Bundle, including

the Royal Peacock Stamp set and Detailed Peacock dies 

(page 5, 25, and 192).   I added the coordinating 

Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (p 167) and Brick and Mortar

3D Embossing folder, found on page 198.   The sentiment 

from Butterfly Gala (p 47) was cut out with the

Stitched Shapes Dies on page 196.

I picked up the Royal Peacock bundle because it is so

different, with elements that are great together, or can

be used separately for different looks.

Geared Up Garage Celebration

I love masculine sets, especially those that are car

related, since many in my family are car nuts. 

Geared up Garage (page 154), paired with the Garage Gears

Dies (page 193) enables quick creation of celebratory cards.

I like repeat stamping sentiments, to create a background

with variations in color.  I ran the balmy blue layer through

the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to add more texture.
