Sailing Home for the 4th

Some of my family lives in Duluth Minnesota, where
there are a number of lighthouses.  For the 4th, the fireworks
are shot over the harbor, and a large lighthouse museum.
It is a spectacular display, and inspiration for this card.

I used the lighthouse from the Sailing Home set on page 31.
The lighthouse was run through the Subtle 3D Embossing
Folder (page 185), to add texture,  and mounted on a
layer cut out with the Ornate Layers Dies on page 177.
I didn't feel the need to add a sentiment, because the
Ornate Layers Dies are pretty "busy" as is.

Nothing's Better with Love You More Dies

Here's another card using the Nothing's Better Than bundle on
page 91.  It is comprised of the Nothing's Better Than stamp set
and Love You More Dies, on page 176.  This is such an easy
bundle to create with.  It's perfect for drinkers, whatever
their "poison".

Nothing's Better

There is a story behind this card.  My mother is
moving.  She still has her refrigerator and a toaster oven.
She has discovered that she can make a small batch of
cookies, with store bought cookie dough. She's had the toaster oven, but never used it very much.   Each time we talk on
the telephone, she giggles about how many batches she
has made, or how she didn't have time to cook them
and just ate the dough.  I did mention that she may
complicate things, because we will not be sure if she
has COVID, or is sick on cookie dough.

I had to send her a card, made with the Nothing's Better
set and coordinating Love You More Than dies (page 176).
This is my favorite new catty set because it is funny,
and I have family members who fit many of the sentiments.
I ran some Velum Cardstock thru a Stitched Rectangles Die
and the Pacific Point layer through the Absolutely Argyle
Embossing Folder (page 184).
