Stamp Off Sealed with Love Notes

It's another day on Stamp Off Island.
Island occupants include Buffy, Susan and Jackie,
surviving on paper, stamps and ink!
Today's challenge is kind of obvious.  It's a Love/Heart You
event, just in time for Valentines day.
It doesn't have to be a lovey/dovey card,
just one that expresses love.  We could use more
of that nowadays!
I enjoy stamping dates with several friends,
including the amazing Mary Brown (aka stampercamper).
I made this card during one of our play dates.   It even
looks a bit like a "Mary card"!  Must have been
the atmosphere.
The products that I used,
the Sealed with Love set and coordinating Love Notes
Framelits Dies,  are found on pages 14-15 of
the Occasions catalog.  I like the texture of the "grilled" heart,
that works so well as a backdrop. The DSP comes from the
Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack on page 174
of the regular catalog.
I hope that you enjoyed this corner of the Stamp Off Island,
and invite you to continue the tour with
Susan and Buffy.

CCMC443 Lift Me Up

If you follow my blog, you know that I sometimes
join the challenges at Create with Connie & Mary.
I enjoy their samples, subscription and challenges,
especially sketch challenges like this one (CCMC443).

I took a few liberties with the sketch, but followed it
loosely.  When you're talking about balloons and clouds,
you have to pile them on!
I used the Lift Me Up set and coordinating Up & Away
Thinlits Dies (p 10) to scatter images.   The DSP strip comes from
the Neutrals pack on page 174.  I wanted just a bit of
bling, so added retired black glimmer paper.

Beautiful You Jump Rope

Again with my fav set Beautiful You on page 24.
I stamped Stazon ink on Crumb Cake card stock.
The image was colored with Melon Mambo, White
Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Watercolor Pencils.

I felt like she "wanted" a scarf or something to twirl, so
I added a piece of black baker's twine.  It looks a bit like
a jump rope, but that's the way it went.  The sentiment
was cut out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die.
