Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Card w DP

The Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Flowers are another new product that I
didn't think that I would LOVE, but I do! It goes soooo perfectly with
the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper (DP), found on pages
32 and 33 of the Occasions mini.

This is a tall, 3x12 card base, with pink Sweet Pea DP.
The sentiment is from the Vintage Labels SAB set and cut out
with the new Medium Jewelry Punch.

The ribbon stem is Old Olive Satin that was wrapped
around a paint brush and heated.

SAB Freebies and Bella Bloom

The SAB DP (Designer Series) paper pack makes it really easy to produce
quick cards.  This card also  uses the Vintage Labels (SAB FREE set)
and Bella Boom stamp sets.

I cut out a couple of elements, including a house and some clouds.
Those pieces were adhered to a DP strip of trees.  Oval punches were
used to cut out and layer the sentiment.  And last, but CERTAINLY NOT least
is the Old Olive 5/8 Satin Ribbon.

Eggcellent Eggs Kit Bunny Bucket

If you can't tell, this is a Bunny Bucket.  The bucket is a little altered
wedding favor from the Dollar Store.  It is made of metal.
BUT, we all know that the Crop-A-Dial
punches through metal like "buttah".  I punched 8 holes in the bucket with
my Crop-A-Dial (page 191).  I wove 5/8 inch Celery Ribbon (from the
Occasions mini) through the holes, splitting the ends
to  make whiskers.  I then inserted 2 pink flower brads.

The rest of this project contains elements from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit on page
23 of the Occasions Mini.   The ears, feet and mouth were made from
the designer paper.  Rhinestones are placed in the brads for eyeballs.
This kit is nice because of all the different elements, including rub-ons,
that you can "play with".

SAB HOME Banner.

Now this is a FUN little project that was inspired by the
AMAZING Mary Brown.  Mary likes to cut things out.  I DO NOT.
Marys' sample involved stamping and cutting out images from the
Good Neighbors  SAB stamp set.  In my example, I "cheated"
and used the Welcome Neighbor SAB Designer Series Paper Pack.

First, I used the Big Shot to process some components.  The Scallop Square Die
(page 199) was used to cut out 8 black scalloped squares.  The Serif Essentials
(page 199) alphabet dies were used to cut out the letters
H, O, M, E in black card stock.

Next, I selected strips of houses from the Welcome Neighbor SAB
paper pack (Page 7 of the SAB mini).  I then selected background papers
to go with each strip of houses.  The houses were layered on the background.
I then added the large letters.  The only thing that I cut out were the clouds, which
were layered around the letters.

Each "page" was then layered on a black scallop square.
Medium Window Sheets (page 158) were scored and attached to
the back of each scallop, so that the set of scallop squares would stand
on it's own (valley and mountain folds were alternated).
Another black scallop square was then attached to the back of each
"page", to cover the window sheet edges.

Thank you Mary, for the inspiration!
