Christmas Purse

This is a purse gift certificate holder that we made at my recent Christmas Class.  It uses the wonderful red flocked  Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper from the Holiday Mini.  The stamp set is Delightful Decorations (Page 24 of the Holiday Mini) with the coordinating Ornament Punch.  Always Artichoke card stock was cut out with the Big Shot Top Note Die and then dry embossed with the Petal-A-Plenty Embossing Folder.   Such a wonderful Christmas gift presentation.

Gifts of Christmas

This is a bleached Gifts of Christmas project.  The image was Gold Embossed on Bravo Burgundy card stock and then bleached.  It was layered on Metalic Gold card stock and wrapped with a Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon.  The Mellow Moss card base was daubered (yeh, I know that's not a word!) with  Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (from the holiday mini),  as was the Taffeta Ribbon.

A VERY quick card.

Happy Hump Day.

Elegant Gifts of Christmas

As promised, another project using Gifts of Christmas.  This card uses Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Brushed Silver card stock.  I love combining Gold or Silver embossing powder with the corresponding metalic paper.   The olive layer was run thru the Big Shot Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder.  The Eggplant layer with the Dove image is a Top Note Die piece of card stock that was run off the side of the card.

Assemble, add some Eggplant Grosgrain and you have a very quick, elegant Christmas Card.

Gifts of Christmas Floral

Well, Gifts of Christmas (page 37) is now sitting on my table,  so you will probably see a little series.  This set is WONDERFUL.  Yes, this is a Christmas set, but the above card proves that it is very versatile.

This card uses Rose Red, Soft Suede and Confetti White card stock.  The ornament punch vase and side panel were made with DP from the Thoroughly Modern Designer Paper pack on page 163. The side panel was put in the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder and run thru the Big Shot.  After the Rose Red flowers were stamped, I colored them with a VersaMark marker and then embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.   I then added some Crystal Effects to make them stand out, although I don't know that you can see those additions in this images.

Have a Wonderful Monday!
