By the Bay Watercolor

Here is one more By the Bay card to finish out the
SAB season.  I couldn't help it, this is just such a great set.
For this sample, I used a technique
demonstrated by Buffy Cooper, here.  It involves inking your
stamp, and then spritzing it with water to give it a
watercolor look, without all the effort.  In this example,
I used markers to color individual areas of the stamp,
so that each would bleed and blend just a bit.

Thanks for popping by and please click on over to
Buffy's to view her card.  I like Buffy's sample because
she really worked the watercolor so that things
blended nicely.

Tea Together with Doily Builder

This is a combination of some of my favorite Occasions
and SAB products.   The sentiment comes from Dear Doily
with coordinating Doily Builder Thinlits Dies (Occasions p 47).
The Tea Together (p 49) with SAB Tea Time Framelits
Dies (SAB page 17) were watercolors to create the
focal image.  I attached Brights DSP paper and ran the
card base through the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder (Occasions p 11).
I attempted to make this look like the tea pot is
sitting on a doily!

By The Bay

By the Bay is one of my favorite SAB sets because it
enables you to use so many different techniques.
In these two samples, I used watercoloring, on
watercolor paper.  The word "ENJOY" comes from Thoughtful
Banners on page 57.  I cut out this word with
a Framelit from Bouquet Bunch on page 216.
I created layered frames with the Rectangle
Stitched Framelits Dies (Occasions page 28).

I had to post another By the Bay (SAB page 10) sample.
In this example,
I stamped Stazon ink on watercolor paper, adding colors
with an Aqua Painter.  With the coloring, anything goes
so you can just relax and enjoy the process.
