Sunshine Sayings with Doily Builder Thinlits

Thank you so much for joining Buffy, Susan and I
for another Stamp Off Challenge.  This week, our theme
is "You are my sunshine".  This is a great concept because
we are soooo looking forward to spring!

I had a hard time getting a good picture of this card,
so will post two.   I also changed the position of the sentiment.
My immediate thought was to use the
word "sunshine" from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits
on page 220.   These thinlits coordinate with the
Sunshine Sayings set on page 112, which is where I
got the word "SENDING".    I cut out this word with
a Framelit from Bouquet Bunch on page 216.  It is
perfect for those small sentiments that need a special shape.

This card features one of my favorite color combinations;
Calypso Coral, Mango Melody and Poppy Parade.
The medallions came from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies
on Occasions page 47.  Sadly, these dies are no longer available!
The Lace Dynamic Texture
Impressions Embossing Folder (Occasions page 11)
provides the perfect backdrop for those medallions.

I hope that you enjoyed my sunshine card and have time
to pop by Buffy and Susan's sites to see their cards!

So Hoppy Together with Animal Outing

Ahhh, the frogs.  Specifically, So Hoppy Together on
page 13 of the SAB catalog.  I really do enjoy them
because they are very HAPPY images, and easy to color
with Stampin' Blends.
The sentiment comes from Animal Outing,
on page 27 of the annual catalog.

I layered strips of Brights Designer Series Paper (p 191)
and the lovely Gingham Gala DSP pack (Occasions p 35)
Every self respecting frog requires some bright colors.
Once both strips of DSP were adhered to a piece of Cardstock,
I ran that entire panel through the Subtle Textured
Impressions Embossing Folder.

I probably should have posted this card Monday,
since this card is extra green.

Gingham By the Bay

There are several SAB items that really call to me.
By the Bay (p 10) is one of them.  It is perfect for those
situations that call for a tender word.

In this example, I used Stampin' Blends to color the gulls,
which were layered on some Gingham Gala DSP
(Occasions page 35).   I added a bit of Organdy Ribbon
to pull the card together.  It is simple, but hopefully soothing.
