Stamp Off Merry Moose

This is a happy challenge, because Susan, Buffy and I
get to show you new product from the Stampin' Up!
Holiday catalog.

There are many products from this catalog to pick from,
but I had to narrow it down.

The Moose (Merry Moose on page 27) is my fav.
I like moose because I have family who live in Minnesota,
as well as the fact that they are very interesting creatures.
I paired this moose with a piece of Seeing Silhouettes DSP
and a Noble Peacock Foil Sheet (page 167) bough created with
the Christmas Layers Die (page 16 in the Holiday).
I colored the moose with Stampin' Blends, feeling that
blue worked well for his body color.   I colored the
Light Balmy Blue and then softened it with the
Color Lifter (page 179).  I popped him up on lots of
mini-dimensional to make him stand out.

I hope that you enjoyed this introduction to products
from the SU Holiday Catalog.  Be sure to click on over
to see what Buffy and Susan have for you!

Snowman Season

Honestly, I love Snowmen.  They are festive, silly
and made of snow.   I like snow. This snowman comes from the
Snowman Season set on page 20 of the newly released
Holiday Catalog.  You can bundle this set with the
coordinating Snowman Builder Punch on page 19.
The snowflakes were created with the Christmas Layers
Dies on page 16.  As always, the images have been
colored with Stampin' Blends!

On To Adventure Holiday Mashup

Just in case you were not aware of it, the new Stampin' Up!
Holiday Catalog goes live on Wednesday (September 4th).
I had a whimsical moment and decided that I wanted to
combine a number of stamp sets, to capture the
exuberance of the upcoming holidays.

The little lady, or in this case, an updated Ms Claus,
comes from the On to Adventure stamp set on page 28 of
the annual catalog.   She has borrowed the snowman's hat
and Christmas greeting from Snowman Season Bundle
on (Holiday) page 20. These images were colored
with Stampin' Blends. The tree images come from
the Merry Moose set on (Holiday) page 27.
Stitched Shapes Dies were used to raise Ms Claus
to her deserved height on this card!

Lastly, please have a safe and happy Labor Day.
