Nuts About Squirrels

I personally do not like squirrels very much.  They hang from
my peaches and apples, just to taunt me.  They dig up potted
plants.  They have no respect for my gardening efforts.

However, Nuts About Squirrels (page 49 in the July - December
catalog) is great fun.  My Dad always used to use the phrase
"bright-eyed & bushy-tailed", so I had to have this set.
The stamps are easy to use and work very well together.

I layered the focal image on to a piece of the Hostess
Pattern Party DSP.  The sentiment was cut out with the
Stitched So Sweetly dies on page 166.

I guess I can learn to be more open minded about squirrels.

Sweet as a Peach

My peaches just finished up.  The squirrels and rabbits got
bunches of them.  I had to throw the ones on the ground in the
garbage, which now smells like Peach wine!
I got a few peaches  that we are eating, and I also made into
some yummy peach juice.

That is why I couldn't wait to get
my hands on the Sweet as a Peach set on page 61. I cut out
the peaches with the coordinating Peach Dies on page 161.
The peaches remind me of how grateful I am to have
a fruit bounty.

Plentiful Plants with Perfect Plants Dies

Happy Monday!  Today I am playing with the Perfect Plants
Bundle, which includes the Plentiful Plants Stamp set
on page 81, and the coordinating Perfect Plants dies on page 160.
There is also lovely, coordinating DSP, found on page 131.

I used the hanging macramé basket to suspend the sentiment
from Quiet Meadow, found on page 110.  I cut out the
sentiment with the die from Beautiful Trees on page 158.

I used a Blending Brush to add some pattern from the
Basic Decorative Masks on page a128.  I showed it to my Mom and
she said that it looked like sunshine shining on the plant.
I then ran this layer through
the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder on page 55 of
the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.
