New Photopolymer Stamps!

We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

The Fine Print
  • Photopolymer stamps will be offered on a trial basis. Based on popularity, we hope to release more photopolymer stamp sets over the coming months. At this time we don't plan on offering a line of photopolymer sets as expansive as our wood-mount and clear-mount lines.

What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • They use FDA, food-safe material. How far can you stretch your stamping creativity?
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

Vintage Verses Pennants

This bright, happy little card uses several
SAB products, including the Vintage Verses set,
Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper
and the Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack.

Tangerine Tango and Island Indigo markers
were used to color in the sentiment.  I used the
Petite Pennants Builder punch to make
the pennants on the left side of the card.
I rounded the corners on the top layer,
to coincide with the rounded edges of the pennants.

I added the ribbon, button and Whisper White
card base and the card is complete.
This was an extremely quick card to make!

Oh, Hello Chalkboard

I decided to go with a fun technique today, called Chalkboard.
It is fun to do and a great masculine look.  Well,
maybe sans the flowers on this sample!
Just stamp images in white craft ink on black card stock.
Let the ink dry completely (or hit it with the heat gun
if you can't wait).
Then highlight some of the white images
with the SU Watercolor Pencils.
In this example, I also drew faint outlines with
the White Watercolor Pencil
Use a sponge dauber to dab "smudges", to make
the card front look like a real chalkboard.

Sets:  Oh, Hello,  Flowering Flourishes
Colors:  Whisper White, Basic Black,
Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Pack
(p 16 of Spring Mini).
Accessories:  Watercolor Pencils (p 157)
Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits
(page 191), "Smooshed" Soda Pop Top (p 24 of Mini),
1/2 inch Circle Punch

Sentimental Bike

I thought that I'd give you a break from "Dress U
designer dresses a la Jackie".  Don't worry, there
are more to come.  This card is all SAB (Sale-A-Bration)!

During SAB time, you can select a FREE item
from the SAB brochure for every $50 merchandise purchase.

The card above uses the bike from the
Feeling Sentimental set, and
Sycamore Street DSP banners.
I always use the Full Heart Punch to create the
ends of the banners, so that I don't get cranky
about their appearance when I cut by hand.

The bike was stamped in Rich Razzleberry
and Island Indigo Ruffled ribbon was used
as an accent.
