Just for You w Wildflower Fields

This year, Stampin' Up! is offering some wonderful
Sale-A-Bration (SAB) products.  The Botanicals for You
set on page 4 is bold and beautiful.  If you omit the flowers,
you have a great masculine option.  In this example, I paired
the set with the  Wildflower Fields DSP paper on page 12.
This DSP is cool because it includes many of the
2014-16 In-colors, which I like bunches.
Using DSP makes it easy to pick the ink colors
that you will use for your card.

For the bottom fringe detail on this card, I used the largest
framelit from the Squares Collection.  I cut it at a slant,
because I liked that effect.

Wacky Watercooler Mini Blog Hop#1

Welcome!  You have likely arrived at this
Wacky Watercooler Blog hop site after viewing Marie's
wonderful projects.  I know that you enjoyed them
because Marie is wonderfully talented!
If you want to hop back and take a look, click below.

Since this hop is circular, you can start anywhere and hop
until you've viewed all of the artists.

First, my serious card.  I have a bunch of nephews and
brother-in-laws, so am always in need of masculine birthday cards.
The Number of Years set, with coordinating Large Numbers
Framelits (page 10-11 of the 2016 Occasions mini)
is a great set for boys or girls.

This was a very quick and easy card, with stamping and layering
of the elements.  I added a Lots of Labels Framelit layer (p173),
embossed with the Boho Chic Textured Embossing Folder
on page 174. Now I'm ready for my nephew's B-Day!

I affectionately call this my "crazy chick" card.  I have to
admit that the first time I looked at the SAB catalog and saw the "Honeycomb Happiness" set on page 15, this
idea popped into my head.  You know how you have friends
who have a series of tough breaks or difficult situations.
I was happy to see the "Oh, Hello" greeting because I knew
I could omit the "o" for a "different" sentiment. The raindrop
paper reminded me of tears.   Yes, my thought process
is twisted.

Please take note, the DSP on this card is the FREE
(with $50 product purchase) Wildflower Fields pack. Lovely paper!

So now that you've seen my projects, please hop forward
to see Buffy's delightful offerings.  She is an amazing artist.

WWC49-Jackie's Sketch Challenge

http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.ca/

Yippee-Skippee, the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge is back!
I'm excited because today is my sketch challenge, but also
because you will be seeing new Occasions 2016 and SAB product.

For my challenge, I've created a pretty straight forward layer card
using coordinating product from the Occasions 2016 Mini Catalog.

This card uses the Balloon Builders Stamp set (Occasions p 14),
with the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch (p 13)
It's My Party DSP paper stack (Occasions p 5) and
my favorite Tin of Cards set on p 110 of the annual catalog.
I really like the Balloon Builders set because of it's
flexibility, and watercolor look.
This is a birthday card that works for guys or girls,
and comes together quickly.

Please click on over to the Wednesday Watercooler Challenge site,
and join us for this sketch challenge.  Make a card and
link it up to our Linky!

RMHC Sprinkles of Life Gift Holder

This is a "practice card" for a gift card holder.
It features the RMHC set Sprinkles of Life on page 189.
The DSP pack is retired.

The idea comes from Crafty Caroline at http://www.craftycarolinecreates.com/2015/07/pop-up-gift-card-holder-tutorial-using.html

I changed the measurements a bit, reducing the width to
4 1/2 inches (rather than 5).  I really like this cool
pop-up inside of the card.  Additionally, it is very
easy to create, but makes a great impression.

Sorry, I didn't have a gift card so modeled a
business card instead.
