July Watercooler Blog Hop

http://wackywatercoolerstamping.blogspot.ca/2015/07/the-wacky-watercooler-blog-hop-presents_16.html

Welcome!!
This is our July Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop.
Our task is to offer 3 projects:
Christmas
A Catalog CASE (copy and share everything)
and a project featuring a punch.

You've likely arrived from viewing Marie's lovely projects.
If not, feel free to click here to enjoy them.
http://mytanglewoodcottage.blogspot.com/

My first project is a Christmas card, featuring the "Every Blessing"
set on page 70.  The colors are Soft Sky and Blackberry Bliss.
I added the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper "Joy" framelit
from the Wonderful Wreath Framelits set on page 173.
I cut out the focal image with the Circles Framelits.
I wanted to add yet more sparkle, so coated the focal image
with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.

This is the Catalog Sample that I based my CASE on.

I really liked the belly band on the box on page 65.
The scallop and bow shapes really caught my eye,
so I used it as the basis for my Catty CASE.
The Blow Builder Punch on page 167,
makes a project look really special.   This project is kind of a
gift card or note holder, at almost full card size.

I started out using pennants
similar to the sample on page 65, but the project morphed to
concentric circles with the sentiment from "All About Sugar"
on page 61,  punched out with the new Washi Tape punch
(page 166).  The Timeless Elegance DSP on page 143
was colored with Blackberry Bliss ink and a blender pen.

The envelop is a 7 3/4 inch square. Each side is scored
at 2 inches.  The top and bottom are scored at 1 1/4 inch.
I embossed the envelope with the Boho Chic Textured
Embossing Folder on page 174.

My final project is the Punch part of the challenge.
For this punched opening, I used one of the framelits from
the Circle Card Thinlits on page 171.  I ran it through
the Big Shot twice, first going in one direction,
and then I flipped it 90 degrees, overlapping the previous
cut and ran it through again, creating kind of a diamond
shaped opening. The sentiment comes from Work of Art
(page 118).  I love the Vintage Leaves set (p 88)
paired with the Leaflets Framelits on page 172.  This combination
allows for effortless fall (or any season!) projects.

Thank you for taking a look at my projects.  Now
please hop along to enjoy Penny's wonderful projects,
or over to the Wacky Watercooler challenge home page.

Catty CASE Raised Framelit

Blog Hop Tomorrow Evening!!
Please check it out.

This was a fun card, that I was going to put into the
hop for tomorrow, but decided to use another card.
This is a CASE of the concept shown on page 122
of the main catalog.  It takes a framelit, with repeated
layers and allows you to make that part of the card raised.
I hope that you enjoy it.

Sprinkles of Life Tree and Leaves

I need to clarify that I think I CASED this card,
but cannot find the original resource.
This is another Sprinkles of Life card, with a contribution
from the Vintage Leaves and Leaflets Framelits.
The Sprinkles of Life set is on page 189, with the
coordinating Tree Builder Punch on page 167.
I used the new 2015-17 In-colors, including
Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.

Buffy's Color Challenge

http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.ca/

Welcome!  This is Buffy's Watercooler Color challenge.
And it's a wild one!  Check out these colors:

They actually work well together.
Here is my offering.

I stamped images from the Awesomely Artistic set
on page 125, on pieces of Rose Red,  Pink Pirouette
and Wisteria Wonder.  They didn't have enough texture,
so I ran them through the  Lovely Lace Embossing Folder
on page 174.  I layered them over a card base embossed
with the new Boho Chic Embossing Folder (p 174) and
a strip of Gold Foil (p 148).
I also sponged the retired Encore Gold Ink around each
square and the card base.

Be sure to check out the other artist's interpretations
on our Watercooler Challenges site.
Please enter the challenge by submitting your own
interpretation!
