Stamp Off Cool Treats Sketch

Happy Stamp Off Friday!  Today Buffy, Susan and I
are working on a diagonal.
I like this challenge because it is easy to use a
rectangle shaped piece of DSP, cut it diagonally
and get to work.  I appreciate straight lines and "order".
I grabbed my fav, Urban Underground Specialty
Designer Series Paper (DSP) and went to work.
The Cool Treats set, with coordinating Frozen Treats
Framelits Dies (p32-3) made for an easy focal image.
I layered these components on a vanilla oval cut with
the Stitched Shapes die, layered on a Delightful Dijon
Layering Oval Framelit (p 193) piece.
After preliminary layering, I decided that I needed a bit
of sparkle, so I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer
paper.  Yes, you might note that I deviated from the
sketch in that I did not place the sentiment on the
diagonal.  I know that is ok with Susan and Buffy
because they are rebel women!

So now please check out the wonderful ideas
presented by my friends, Buffy and Susan.
Given that they just attended a Stampin' Up!
event and got their
new 2017-18 catalogs, they may (or may not) be showing
previews of upcoming product.
The retirement list is out, so please check in with me
in order to get the "soon to be gone" goods!

Custom Tee Birthday Blouse

Well, the SU retirement list is out, so I plan to
post items that will probably be gone by mid May,
if not sooner.  I sent this card to my niece, for her Febrary birthday.   I have to say that I simply LOVE
the two Occasions catalog sets used on this card.  The first, representing the sentiment, is Balloon Adventures on
page 5.   The second is Custom Tee with the T-Shirt
Builder Framelit Dies on page 30.  Both enable creation of wonderful masculine or feminine cards and I am
so glad that I purchased them.  They are unique and
great fun to use.  The Stitched Shapes Thinlits WILL be
available in the upcoming annual catalog, so
that is a very good thing!!

Owl Builder Baby Outfits

This is a baby card, created with the Owl Builder punch
on page  188.  I punched out the vest and then snipped
out a portion of the "pants" to make these baby boy outfits.

The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes,
on page 90, with ends created with the Banner Triple
punch on page 186.  I used the Elegant Dots
Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the
card base.
