Meadow Dies

The Meadow dies on page 160 are a lovely and flexible
set of dies.  Given that they are tall flowers, you can make
them the focal point, or the background of a card.  In this
example, I cut retired DSP, and a panel of card stock,
in order to form three panels.  I then used a label maker to
create the sentiment in black.  After finishing the card,
I'd wished that I'd put them a bit closer together, but I
can always critique a card after the fact.

The Meadow dies will be making an appearance in the
new catalog,  which is available in May.

Ornate Layers with Meadow Dies

I have a dear aunt, who wanted a card for her granddaughter's
wedding.  The only color requirements were white and moss.
I used some retired designer series paper and Mellow Moss
ribbon to mirror selected wedding colors.

The background layer was cut out with the Ornate Layers
dies on page 164.  I used the Meadow dies (page 160) to
cut out the DSP and Velum to form the bouquet.  The sentiment
is retired and was punched.

Windmill Fields Dies with Home and Gardens

This is another one of those cards that I wanted to "get out
of my head."  I love the Windmill Fields dies on page 17 of
the January-June 2022 Mini.  There are so many nice "bits"
that can be assembled on a card, such that you could go with
single elements, like the bike.  The windmill also works
great on so many background designs and papers.

I grabbed my Plenty of Patterns Layering Decorative Masks
(page 128 in the annual catalog), because I felt that the flower
mask would coordinate perfectly with that windmill.  I used
Blending Brushes (page 121) to add Mint Macaroon to the
mask and edges of this card.  The Windmill was created with
several designs from the In Good Taste DSP.
Next, I added the sentiment from the Home
and Gardens set (Mini, page 72), cutting it out with the
Rectangle Stitched dies.  I placed 2 retired Candy Dots on
the windmill to highlight the windows.

I have to admit that this is one of my favorite cards.
I love the look and feel of it.
