In the Meadow On Hello Honey

Today I noticed some "left-overs" on my crafting table
and got the bug to do something with them.
This scrap came from a Blog Hop that I participated in
some time ago.  I'd made several deer panels and
this one hadn't made the cut.

I layered the deer from In the Meadow (Occasions p 28)
on to Early Espresso and mounted that on strips of
Hello Honey embossed with the Woodgrain Textured
Embossing Folder (p 174 of the regular catty).  Mounted
to an Old Olive card base and that was pretty much it!

Stamp Off Sketch Challenge with DSP Strips

I just love Fridays, when I get to enjoy the Stamp Off Challenge
with Buffy and Susan.  They are wonderful artists.

Today we're doing a sketch challenge.  It's one that allows you
to use up all those pesky strips of DSP laying about.
That's one of my favorite kinds of sketches!

The DSP that I selected for this challenge is the
SAB Wildflower Fields paper that just retired yesterday
(hey, it's April Fool's Day, so
I had to pull something!).

I combined the strips of DSP with a Lost Lagoon card base,
embossed with the Boho Chic Textured Impressions Folder (p 174).
The flower was made with the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies
on page 26 of the Occasions Mini.  The sentiment comes from
the All About Sugar set on page 61 of the regular catty.

Now that you've seen my challenge sample, please click
on over to see Buffy and Susan's offerings!

Party Pop-Ups with Fab Four

This is the front  of my card, made with the birthday cake
portion of the Party Pop-Up Thinlits Die on page 7 of
the Occasions Mini.  This is such a "handy" thinlit!

The inside contains the other die.  As complicated as this assembly
inside the card appears, it is VERY EASY.  There are little
indicators telling you where to align this die on the fold.
I used Fabulous Four on page 58 of the main catalog
to complete the card.

Stand Up Box card

I like "fancy fold cards", if they are not too fussy.
I got this Stand-Up box card idea from Dawn O (directions follow).
I altered the directions slightly,
to fit the In the Meadow focal image, which I colored with markers.

I used the FREE Wildflower Fields DSP on page
12 of the SAB brochure.

Easter Jelly Beans

I think that jelly beans are fun, because of the striking colors, like
Melon Mambo, Cucumber Crush and Bermuda Bay.
The sentiment is from the
Honeycomb Happiness SAB set on page 15,
cutting the banner with the Banner Tripple Punch
on page 165.
Please enjoy the blessings of this Easter Day!
