Stamp Off Retiring World of Dreams

Hey stampers!  It's another Friday Stamp Off Challenge
with Susan and Buffy.

Today we are posting cards featuring beloved stamp sets
that are retiring.  There are so many to pick from,
that this post could include 6 different cards.
However, as you know, some sets have to retire, in order to
make room for delicious new rubbah!
My card features the World of Dreams set on page 95
of the current annual catalog.  I also used my two favorite retiring in-colors:  Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon.

I kept it really simple because these images are so
good at evoking emotion and memories.  With springtime
here, the birds and nest image is perfect.

The masked sentiment comes from the retired Six-Sided Sampler.
I goofed, forgetting that that set had retired last year!

Now please hop on over to check out what Susan
and Buffy have to share with you.

Retiring Age Awareness

The Age Awareness set on page 10 of the regular catalog
is a great Birthday set.  The fonts are different and the
sentiments are fun.  It's nice to have a set with HUGE
letters, so that you are able to focus on the message,
with a few accessories added.

Party Ducks in a Row

Something for Baby, on page 38 is a wonderful baby set.
The images are delightful, with a bonus:
THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE FUSSY CUT,
because it has coordinating Baby's First Framelit dies on page 172.
I've been using the It's My Party DSP (p 5 in the Occasions mini)
like crazy.  The Melon Mambo layer on this card really perks
up the row of cute little ducks!

The Big News set, on page 100, is one that I will be really
sad to see retire.  It has a collection of wonderful sentiments,
that work on the front, or back of your card.  You can also
use many of these sentiments for scrapbooking.
