Hand-Penned with Paradise Palms

 This is one of my favorite bundles, including the

Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and Penned Flowers Dies.

I cut out both the flower background and the detail,

using blending brushes to add ink to the detail.

I stamped the sentiment from Paradise Palms on the 

background panel and ran it through the retired Subtles

Embossing Folder several times.  I then mounted the flower

image on dimensional above the sentiment.

I added a length of Tear and Tape, attaching retired 

ribbon to it, gathering as I went.  Retired Genial Gems

finished off the project.

Vintage Tools with He's the Man

 I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Vintage Tools set,

for the guys in my family.  The He's the Man Specialty Designer 

Series Paper coordinates extremely well with this set.  I 

really like using this combination for masculine birthdays.

Best Butterflies with Heron Habitat

 The Best Butterflies set, with coordinating Build A 

Butterfly dies, is a very sweet bundle.  The butterflies are 

"fluffy" with lots of possible design patterns.

I cut out 3 Symbols of Fortune DSP circles, of varying size, 

with the retired Stitched Shapes dies.  I made sure to select the 

cloud portions of the DSP for the background.  They were layered

on to a piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock and run through the

retired Subtles Embossing Folder.

The Heron Habitat sentiment was stamped on the 

smallest circle.  The Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky butterfly

was assembled and placed on the largest circle. I added

3 retired Rhinestone Waves as accents.  The top layer

was added to a Soft Succulents card base. 

This is a really easy card layout, as it gives space for the

sentiment, as well as a die cut image, ensuring a lot of 

interest through the "rule of threes."
