Tasteful Textures with Tasteful Backgrounds and Flourish

This was sort of a challenging card to take a picture of,
given the dark colors.  I will say that Blackberry Bliss
and Night of Navy look great together.

I used a die from Tasteful Backgrounds (page 196) to
create a negative image, placing a piece of See a
Silhouette DSP (page 166) behind it.  I used the sentiment
from the coordinating Tasteful Textures set on page 135,
and layered it over an element from the Flourish Dies
on page 192.  Both the flourish and the card base are
Soft Sea Foam cardstock.

Detailed Peacock with Well Written

Please don't get frustrated, because yes, it's another peacock card.
For this project, I used the feathers from the Detailed Peacock
dies on page 192, to create negative spaces on my card layer.
I then placed a piece of Noble Peacock Foil Sheet (page 167)
behind, so that it would shine through the feathers.

I created the sentiment with the Well Written Dies on page 197.
Funny story... I finished the card and looked at it closely.
I had transposed the two words and the card read
"wishes birthday".  Oh well, with a bit of yanking, I got the
sentiment pulled off and reapplied correctly.

See a Silhouette with Detailed Bands

As I've mentioned in the past, I really enjoy stamping with
my friends Mary and Jo.  We share product and advise one
another on our stamping projects.

The See a Silhouette suite on pages 132-134, with coordinating
Sweet Silhouette Dies on page 196 is a wonderful new
bundle.  I enjoy the coordinating See A Silhouette DSP,
because it seems to go with other themes and SU product.

In this example, I used the Detailed Bands Dies on page 192,
to frame the sentiment.  Adding this band in black helped
to highlight the focal silhouette image.
