Lacy and Lovely Top Note

I suspect that you are probably getting tired
of my use of this set.  It is just so easy and elegant to
create with!

In this example, the images were stamped on
Window Sheets and adhered to Glimmer Paper
with Crystal Effects.  The Crystal Effects is clear
and holds really well, so is the perfect adhesive for the job.

Set:  Lacy and Lovely

Colors:  Whisper White, Basic Black & Stazon Ink,
Rose Red and Silver Glimmer Paper

Accessories:  Big Shot Top Note Die, Circle Punches,
White Embossing Powder, 1 1/4 inch
Pink Pirouette/Rose Red Two Tone Ribbon (mini p 13)

Note: I heated the edges of the ribbon to seal and
curl it.

Llama Sale-A-Bration Hop

WELCOME to another Llama Blog Hop!
I'm so glad that you're here.
I bet you enjoyed seeing Stephanie's darling projects.

SU has made some individual clear mount,
single stamps available for purchase.  The
Ears To You set is one of them. This set is so
darn cute.  In this example,
I've used a marker (omitting) to position
the sentiment at the bottom
of the card, while omitting one bunny in the focal image.

Colors:  Whisper White, Gumball Green, Primrose
Petals, Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Pack

Accessories:  Finishing Touches Edgelits,
Gumball Green Ribbon, Gold Brad

I wanted to include a Dress Up Framelit sample because
this product is so versatileYou might also note that
I used the sentiment from "Ears To You" on
this project, too. I used a marker to omit the word "Ears".

The image above shows how I created the vest to go
with the dress cut out.  I cut out 2 Basic Gray dresses and
then positioned the Labels Collection Framelit as shown.
The positioning was flipped for the opposite side of the vest.
As shown in the photo, make sure that you 1) don't cut off
the shoulder/sleeve portion of the dress and
2) leave the "bumps" at the bottom of the framelit so that
you end up with a vest with an angled bottom edge.  I sponged
around the vest edges, to further highlight that layer.

Caught in Crystal Variation

There are various directions on the internet,
for a technique called "Caught in Crystal".
That name is often given because it uses a SU product
called Crystal Effects (page 177 of the main catty).
It is an elegant, but very messy technique.

Steps:

1) Cut pieces of Glossy White card stock and Window Sheet
(p 160) that are the same size.

2. Place the piece of Glossy C/S on waxed paper.
Squirt Crystal Effects on to the piece of Glossy c/s.

3)  Place several small drops of reinker on the
Crystal Effects.   In the example above, I used
Primrose Petals, Delightful Daffodil and Pacific Point.

4) Spread the reinker around, just a little.

5) Press the Window Sheet piece down on the
Crystal Effects/reinker mixture.

Note:  You can stamp on the Window Sheet with
Stazon ink prior to this step if desired.

6 Let dry, overnight if possible.  This is likely to be very wet

I stamped my sentiment from Lacy and Lovely
on the c/s layer.  I also
ran the bottom edge of the layer through the
Delicate Designs Embossing Folder (p 188).
Assemble layers and Crystal Effects detail.
