Stamp Off Break Loose the Banners

Happy Friday and Happy Stamp Off Challenge day.
Buffy, Susan and I are excited to show off our latest challenge.
Today we are challenging ourselves to use banners.
That's it, just some kind of integration of a banner or two.
I did several cards for this challenge, before deciding on
this one.   The words in the Thoughtful Banners set
on page 73 are photopolymer, can be bent to fit the
curve of the banners in this set.  I opted to apply one of the
banners "upside down", bending the sentiment to fit a curve
going the opposite way.  With the Duet Banner Punch (p 186) that
can be purchased as a bundle with this set, it was an easy
way to create a "holder" for a bouquet of flowers.
I added Glimmer Paper banners to further accent this bouquet.
The flowers were created with the Jar of Love Bundle on page 75.
This bundle, which includes photopolymer stamp set and
huge set of framelits dies, is a great way to create 3-d
flower sprays.  The two-tone flowers enable you to create
a lovely, realistic flower arrangement.
So that's it for me!  Now hop on over to check out
what Buffy and Susan did with this banner challenge.

Birthday Fiesta Hanging Pinata

As I've mentioned several times, I sure have fun with the
Birthday Fiesta set and coordinating Fiesta Time
Framelit Dies on page 11.  It's a go-to bundle that just
makes me smile.

In this example, I was trying to create a pinata.  Given the
stamps in this set, it wasn't too difficult!  The photopolymer
stamps enabled me to create streamers that cross, where
the llama/pinata could be hung. I created the banner with
the Triple Banner punch, added layers and the card
was complete.

Jar of Love Koi Pond

I love Koi ponds.  They are so calm and serene.
I've visited the Japanese Peace Garden in Phoenix
with my Mom, which features a huge pond, full of colorful Koi.

The Jar of Love bundle, on pages 75 and 192,
enable a delightful version of a coy pond.   The big flowers
remind me of lotus blossoms, which can be floated
on a watercolor lake.  I hope that you enjoyed my version!
