Stamp Off Way to Goat Challenge

Hey Stampin' friends.  Today, Buffy, Susan and I are
featuring our favorite new catalog sets.  There are many
great sets to pick from, so here goes!

I've put all kinds of things behind the Garden Gateway
Dies (page 181). I love these dies.  This gate just begs for some special DSP or image, so why not a goat.

I love funny sets, and so does my family.  I decided that
one of the goats from Way to Goat (page 105) would be
perfect inside the gate.  These goats, with the fun
coordinating sentiments, are a delight to color with Stampin'
Blends.  Their faces, full of expression, perk up any card.
I hope this card made you smile!

Thank you for stopping by, and please enjoy the cards

offered by Susan and Buffy!

Waterfront

I know that the Waterfront set (page 129) is kind of
a beach set, but hey, I'm from Wisconsin.  When I look
at the set, I see pine forest.  I can't help it.
In this example, I stamped the trees repeatedly and then
wet them with an aqua painter to get some smearing
happening.  I added the splat stamping and then ran
this layer through the Pinewood Plank 3D Embossing
Folder (page 185).  I added a few more layers and
glued everything to a So Saffron card base.
I still can't smell home, like I can when I step
on to Minnesota or Wisconsin soil, but it's a start.

Forever Fern with Country Home

The Forever Fern set on page 110, with coordinating
Forever Flourishing Dies (page 175) is one of my favorite
new catty bundles.  It is a beautiful set of foliage images,
which work for any number of occasions.

I combined this bundle with the Country Home set on
page 89.  I'm not a fan of fussy cutting, but this milk can
makes it pretty easy.  I did minimal coloring with blends,
and layered everything on to Crushed Curry, run through
the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder on page 184.
It's a simple card, but it gets the job done!
