Stamp Off Shaker Challenge

Excitement!!!  It's time for a Stamp-Off  challenge with
Buffy and Susan, where we challenge one another
to complete a card each week.  We don't show each other
our cards in advance, so we have a blast seeing what each of
us has done with the challenge, come Friday morning.

Today we are doing a Shaker card challenge.
I don't often make shaker cards, so enjoyed this opportunity,
once I located my Window Sheets!

I used the often forgotten Just Kidding photopolymer set.
This set comes in very handy when you want to send a
comical card to a friend.

I cut out the Square portion of the Crushed Curry card stock
with the Squares Collection Framelits on page 173.  These framelits are retiring!!!  This is
such a handy set of framelits for Shaker cards.

I "stuffed" this shaker card with the Pacific Point Brights
Sequin Assortment (page 160) and Gold Sequin Trim (page 158).
I used the Banner Triple (page 165) to punch the end of the sentiment.  This strip was layered with Gold Metallic Thread
(page 159).

In case you're not familiar with this set,
this is the coordinating sentiment.
Now please hop on over to check out Buffy and Susan's samples.
You are going to love their creative ideas!

Kinda Eclectic on Hardwood

This is a difficult time in the Stampin' Up! year,
because we are in catalog transition.  Products are retiring,
and demonstrators are revved up for the new catalog goodies.
It's hard to play with "old sets", when you are lusting after
shiny new rubbah (or photopolymer)!

I do love the Hardwood background stamp on page 128,
(which will be in the upcoming 2016-17 annual catalog)
because it makes anything stamped on top of it look better.
I stamped a selection of stamps from the Kinda Eclectic
set on page 127, in Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and
Crumb Cake.  The sentiment comes from the

I added the beautiful, retiring 1 inch Dotted Lace Trim
(page 159) at the bottom of the card.

Flowering Flourishes Birthday

Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive a quarterly magazine,
highlighting product and samples.  This layout is a CASE of one
of these samples.

Flowering Flourishes (p 20) is retiring at the end of May.
I really love this set, because it is so elegant, yet easy to create
with.  The sentiment comes from the Celebrate Today set
on page 102.  This set offers a number of different words
that can be combined to create different messages.

I added Candy Dots and White Perfect Accents (page 161),
to accessorize this card.
