Stamp Off Christmas Pines Pile

Welcome to our first Stamp Off Challenge for November.
Susan, Buffy and I put down the rakes long enough
to bring you another challenge!

This challenge is called "Pile it on" because I've noticed
a design style that is difficult to explain, but involves
putting a collection of products in one location on the card.
Piling stuff on, so to speak.

Once I selected the Christmas Pines set, with coordinating
Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies (on page 19), this card came
together fairly quickly.  My style tends to be CAS,
so I piled my bits and pieces on a Whisper White layer.

I needed sparkle, so added some Sweet Surgarplum
3/8" Glitter Ribbon and Fancy Frost Sequins (both on page 37).
The stars from from the Enamel Shapes on page 177.

Now click on over to see how Susan and Buffy
Pile On!

Swirly Bird Thoughtful Banners

I haven't picked up the Swirly Bird set (p 152) for a while.
It's a fun set to use, with or without the coordinating
Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies (p 194).

The Thoughtful Banners set on page 73 came in handy
for scattering some words on the right margin.
Although the words look like they need to be lined up
in an orderly fashion, they can be randomly stamped,
creating a nice effect.

Halloween Scenes Edgelits

Well, it's time for one last Halloween post.
The Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog has so many great
products, and this is one of my favorite; the
Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies on page 52.
Although this is designed for Halloween, several of the
edgelits can be used for other occasions.

I created the banner with the Sweet Home and
Home Sweet Home Thinlits Dies on page 40.  This bundle
is so well designed, that you can produce cards or 3-d
projects, for Halloween or Christmas.

The Designer Series Paper is my favorite, Festive Birthday
on page  173 of the annual catalog.  The orange page
works perfectly for Halloween projects.
