Gifts of Kindness Catty CASE

One of the first things that I do when SU publishes a new
catalog, is to write down a list of cards that I want to CASE
(Copy and Share Everything).  You can change up the
set or colors, but it is incredibly helpful to have a project
inspiration or starting point.

In this example, I CASED page 158 in the SU catalog.
The Gifts of Kindness flower was colored with new
In-Color markers, in order to create a vibrant image.
This set is incredibly useful because of the
variety of sentiments, in a very readable font.
The Rhinestones were colored with Blendabilities,
to enable coordination with the Hello Honey card stock.

Get Your Santa On Chimney

The "Get Your Santa On" photopolymer set is found on
page 30 of the Holiday Mini.  It is a really cute set; easy to
color (with Blendabilities) and quick to create with.
In the sample above,
I used a Smoky Slate card base and a layer of
Trim the Tree DSP for the background.
The Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and sponging
add some texture to the card base.

WCC08: Watercooler Punch Art Challenge

Well, it's time for Watercooler Challenge WCC08.
This week, we are doing a punch art challenge.
I hope that you will participate by adding your
sample via our Linky at the end of the post!

I may have violated the punch art "concept" a bit,
but my feeling is that Big Shot die cut and framelit items
are also punch art components.

So, for this challenge, I used 2 Big Shot French Fry
boxes to make a car.   It's pretty large so could hold candy,
a name tag for a child's party or possibly a small cupcake
(you could punch a circle opening in the "trunk" for the cupcake).
The wheels and headlights were all made with circle punches.
The seat is a soft suede oval framelit folded and glued
to fit into the back french fry box.

Now make sure that you don't miss the contributions
from the other Watercooler artists!!
