CCMC392 Color Challenge in Hearts

Connie and Mary are running a color challenge that is

one of my favorite color combos.  Well, actually anything

with Blushing Bride and Crumb Cake ranks right up there.

 

 A while ago, I "squeezed" (rather than running it 

through the Big Shot) some c/s in a Happy Heart 

Textured Embossing Folder inked with Versa Mark.

I removed the panel and poured gold embossing powder

over it, so that I had embossed hearts (the center panel

of this card).  For the challenge, I colored those hearts

with the challenge colors.  

I added the XOXO,  from the Circle Card Thinlits

die, and attached it to a piece of Basic Black.

There is a bit of Gold Metalic Thread wound up behind

the sentiment.

Work of Art Sky is the Limit

I'm getting lazy and coloring things with the Work of Art

set on page 118.  This set really makes a card quick and easy.

In this case, I used it to color a background sky for the

airplane in the FREE Sky Is the Limit SAB set (p 16).

I can't tell you how quick this card was to make!

Aging Balloon Chick

The FREE Honeycomb Happiness set on page15 of  the SAB brochure is just so darn cute!  That chick is so "no-nonsense".

I felt that the sentiment from the Age Awareness set

went perfect.  I layered the chick on to 4 squares of the

It's My Party DSP on page 5 of the Occasions Mini.

This sketch is a great way to use up scrap paper.

Timeless Textures on Crumb Cake

I'm always up for a texture set, because you can do so much

with these patterns.  The Timeless Textures set on page

29 of the Occasions Mini is packed full of delightful textures.

 In this example, I just randomly stamped on Crumb Cake

and added a sentiment from the FREE Botanicals for You

SAB set on page 4.  The end of the banner is punched with 

the Tripple Banner punch.

Star #3: Inlay DSP

Here is my third star card.  This one used the FREE 

WildFlower Fields DSP (page 12 of the SAB mini) with 

sentiment from Balloon Builders set (page 14 in the Occasions).

I just added a little bit of Gold Metalic bling and called it a card!
