Stamp Off SAB Tea Time Framelits

Hey friends!  Today Buffy, Susan and I are showing off
samples made with SAB products.  Sale-a-Bration time is
a wonderful opportunity to pick up FREE crafting supplies.

This card is a combination of the Occasions catalog
and SAB, since the (FREE with $100 purchase)
Tea Time Framelits Dies on page 17 coordinate with
the Tea Together set on Occasions page 49.   I also used
the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (Occasions p 35),
which coordinates beautifully with that yummy
SAB Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack on page 7.

The sentiment that I used comes from the Butterfly
Gala Occasions set on page 35.  I love the way all of
these products combine and coordinate.  By the way,
I stamped with Memento Ink and colored the
flower with Stampin' Blends.

I wanted to show you an "organizing trick" that I am
using.  It helps to make the use of your Stamparatus
more efficient.

I made a jig for each set of framelits, so that all of the
cut-outs were on a reduced sheet of cardstock.
Then I securely taped the cardstock jig
to the sheet of small Stamparatus Grid paper
(away from the Stamparatus edges).  Since there are lots of
grid sheets in the pack, you can create a lot of jigs.
This allows you to put the magnets anywhere on the sheet,
to hold everything down.   This also makes it really easy to
grab a Framelits jigs, and start creating.
You can see the Tea Time Framelits Dies jig
in the lower right position of this photo,
taped to the small grid sheet.

Now that you've seen my sample, please click
on, to see what Susan and Buffy have created
for our Stamp Off SAB challenge.

Here are several videos featuring the Stamparatus.
The second describes the accessories, which include
the Small Grid Paper shown above.

Butterfly Gala with Butterfly Duet Punch

The Butterfly Gala photopolymer set, with coordinating
Butterfly Duet Punch was the first bundle that I
purchased out of the Occasions Catalog (page 35).
This is just a dandy set, with 3 different Butterfly wing
patterns, that can be colored (with Blends, Blender Pens,
etc) or the stamps included in the set to stamp the
wing colors.  I love it!

All you have to do is use a Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder to give some life to the background
and your card is almost complete.  You can make a
CAS (Clean and Simple) card, or vintage.  The butterflies
work for either style!

I did sponge the glimmer paper just a bit, to help it
blend in with the Soft Seafoam and Mossy Meadow
color combination.

Lastly, just a reminder...  stamps go up 5¢ each next week.
I bought a number of books of forever stamps today,
because I LIKE TO SEND CARDS!  I hope
that you do, too.

Seize the Day with Nature's Poem #2

This is a ditto/matching card to the one that I posted
yesterday.  Same products, only the card base color is
different.  Since everything was out, it was a
"no-brainer" to make another version of the card.

I ran the card base with DSP attached through the "Subtles" big shot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.   In this case,
the Gold Foil was also textured in the process.

I used the Seize the Day set on page 157.
For the sentiment, I used the Well Written Framelits
Dies from the Occasions catalog, done with Gold

Foil paper.

Seize the Day with Nature's Poem

First, please have a happy, warm Martin Luther King Day.

I had some friends over to stamp last week, right before
our little blizzard hit.  Marianne looked at some of my DSP
samples and loved the Nature's Poem Designer Series
paper on page 189.  I do, too, because it enables you to
combine so many pretty patterns!   I ran the card base with DSP attached through the "Subtles" big shot Textured Impressions
Embossing Folder, although it is hard to see the texture in this
photo.   This is my "thank you" card for Marianne.

I used the Seize the Day set on page 157, because it works
so well with the DSP to create an elegant card.  The
"DistINKtive" look of this stamp set creates depth and
nuances, without any effort on the part of the stamper.

For the sentiment, I used the Well Written Framelits
Dies from the Occasions catalog, done with Gold
Foil paper.    Here is more on DistINKtive stamps.
