Gingham Gala Rectangles with Well Written

This is a card that was inspired by a wonderful
Australian demonstrator; Sharni Haines at
Sharnihanes.com   Sharni posted her sample to a demo-only
site and kindly gave me permission to CASE her card.
I really liked the layout, with the three rectangle cut-outs
created with the Rectangles Stitched Dies (Occasions page 28).
This card also kind of harkens back to the project
that I presented on February 1st, here, in that I paired
the Gingham Gala DSP with a lot of whisper white.

I used the Gingham Gala DSP strips
(Occasions page 35), to provide the recessed background for
birthday greetings from the Well Written Framelits
Dies on Occasions page 27.   I added the Whisper White
flowers, with lots of rhinestone bling.

Let it Ride on Wood Textures

I continue to play with Let it Ride (Occasions page 45) because
it is a really fun set to use and color.
I layered the watercolored horse over
a piece of Wood Textures DSP (page 189), which
goes so well, as a backdrop.   The Rectangle
Stitched Framelits Dies (Occasions page 28) are the
perfect cutting tool to emphasize the focal image
and sentiment.   I like this set because the card does not
have to be fussy or filled with accessories.  The image and
sentiments work so well together, that you're good to go!

Butterfly Gala with Lace Embossing Folder

I can't go long without playing with the Butterfly Gala
set (Occasions page 35), or the Lace Dynamic Textured
Impressions Embossing Folder (Occasions page 11).  The
Butterfly Duet punch makes it quick and easy to punch
out your images and get that card done!
I really like the sentiments, that line up easily,
and are a good size.
The downside... this punch is backordered.
Sorry.   Guess that's what happens when a bundle
really gets the job done!  Sales far exceeded predictions
and they will be available a number of weeks from now.
