Bring on the Cake HB

Customers have asked that I provide some 

masculine card samples.  One of my favorite sets 

for masculine birthdays is Bring on the Cake.  Don't 

get me wrong, it works for the ladies, too!  But some

of it's solid or block sentiments lean in a masculine direction.

Back to my favorite Big Shot Die; 

Autumn Accents Bigz.  What a great die for

creating leaves.  Because it is a die (rather than a framelit),

you can also make fabric or metal leaves... BONUS!

Technique:  Ink acrylic stamping block on ink pad and

stamp on card stock

First Snowflake

I've been holding off with Christmas/winter projects,

but had the urge to post a snowflake today.

I had decided not to get the Festive Flurry bundle,

but later changed my mind.  I'm so glad that I did, 

because I love the snowflakes that you can make with

this bundle. They work well on cards, packages or hung

from your Christmas tree.

 The Truly Grateful set in the Holiday catalog is

extremely elegant.  The images create a feeling of

fall and thankfulness.

In the project above, the grain image is embossed with

black embossing powder, to give it a more textured look.
