Heather Parade Varied Vases

I haven't posted a Varied Vases (p 45) card in a while,
so here you go.  This Bundle (coordinating punch)
is so much fun, because you can create many looks.
You get to do a bit of coloring, some punching and a lot
of organizing detailed images.  I also enjoy the
sentiments, which are very forgiving as you try to get
them to stamp straight.  That is always a bonus.

In this example, I paired Highland Heather with
my fav Poppy Parade, with a hint of Granny Apple Green.
These vibrant colors really look nice together!

Dandelion Wishes Masked and Sponged

Dandelion Wishes (p 118) is a set that is great for
"simple" cards, or technique cards.  In this example,
I sponged Balmy Blue and Highland Heather on
a masked card.  I then stamped the images and
sentiment in Gorgeous Grape,
layered things up and finished off the card.
I love the way the dandelions drift off,
resembling little wishes that are being sent.

Lemon Zest Squeeze It

Lemon Zest, on page 117 is another one of those sets
that is so utilitarian, because it gets the job done
quickly and easily.  The sentiments that pair with the
lemon images are excellent, and somewhat unique
(humorous) in comparison to many other sets.  Love it!

Stamp Off Wishing You Well Color Challenge

It's another Friday morning, and Susan, Buffy and I
are here to welcome you to our Stamp Off Challenge.

Today, we are doing a color challenge.  Pineapple Punch
and Mango Melody are new colors in the 2018-19 catalog.

This card is a Holiday catalog sneak peak, featuring
the Wishing You Well stamp set on page 35.
This Stampin' Up! catalog goes live on September first.
I love this flexible set, that works for fall, Christmas
and general uses. That bow is incredibly handy,
as a background or focal image.  I colored
enamel dots with a Mango Melody Stampin' Blend.
The Blends will color just about anything!

Thank you for stopping by.  Now please hop on over
to check out the color challenge ideas offered by
Buffy and Susan.

Healing Hugs in Gold

Healing Hugs, on page 110 is another one of my
go-to sets.   I love all of the images, and the sentiments
are very creative.

In this example, I used Crushed Curry and
Mossy Meadow, with a bit of Crumb Cake.
This is a simple card, with a bit of Gold Foil
to add some sparkle.

Animal Outing with Follow Your Dreams!

Yes, let's go one more time with the Animal Outing stamp
set (p 27) and the coordinating Animal Friends Thinlits
on page 215.    These animals are so much fun and you
can absolutely use any color combination that strikes
your fancy.  In this case, I used Soft Seafoam,
Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Ivory Stampin'
Blends (p 205).  I love color combinations that pair
a pale color with black!

The "Big Wish" sentiment comes from the
Follow Your Dreams set on page 54.
